| abstract | - Obtaining the Champion scroll for the Goblin Champion is probably the easiest compared to the task of getting one from any other creature. This is due to the fact that not only do goblins have the least amount of hitpoints out of the ten kinds of creatures that drop Champion scrolls, but they densely inhabit at least one area, which is the goblin house near Lumbridge. Even though this area is single-combat, because of the fact that it is possible to kill goblins with one hit, using a Dwarf multicannon can immensely speed up the process of getting a Champion scroll drop. A weapon with the highest possible attack speed should be used. This includes throwing knives, darts, or in the optimal setup a Toxic blowpipe. It may be economical enough, however, to use something such as mithril knives. Equip gear to increase your ranged bonus as much as possible, as this will also increase the accuracy of your cannon's shots. Be sure to equip Ava's device or Ava's accumulator. You may wish to bring ranging potions. If you are planning to use a ranged prayer such as Eagle Eye, you could also bring prayer potions, however, there is an altar very close by. There are two recommended areas to set up your cannon so the majority of shots are not wasted on enemies other than goblins. The first spot is at the end of the bridge which spans the River Lum. This is right in front of the toll gate to Al-Kharid. The second spot is just to the north, at the end of the fenced section of the road. While your cannon is set up and you are running around killing goblins, you will invariably use a lot of run energy. For this reason it is also recommended to bring some stamina potions.
