Most of his career was spent as a naval officer, but he also spent time in Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Core's Praetorian Guard. After his ascension to the Imperial Throne, it was revealed that Uebles was also a Sith Lord. His reign was overshadowed by repeated defections by Charonist officers, most infamously of Grand Moff Vir Caldar and the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Shadowstone. However, Uebles restored Imperial honour at the Battle of Beta, arguably the greatest victory won by the Galactic Empire in the Galactic Civil War thus far. Soon afterwards he disappeared, leaving his Executor Vodo Bonias as successor.
