Slogan
  • "If you could even begin to start to grasp the fathoming idea of formulating an opinion about embracing my mental obtuseness, you would become enlightened, freed from the shackled prisons of the worldly bonds of the sycophantic patriarchy by the life chi flowing through your sheerly blinded brain to allow you to understand the intelligentical emotion of my passionate amplitude and infinitude of personality and molecular bending with a scientific mind and understanding achieved through countless years of tedious and waterdropping transcendental meditation. Levitation is real; watch me. My favorite color is beige."
abstract
  • Gillford, commonly known by his nickname, Gilly, his self-made nickname, The Supreme Extreme, and by his full name, Gillford Matilda Gooseman, is a member of Team Rocket. He is a major antagonist of A Just Edge. He is an incredible Pokémon master in his own mind, though he is unable to beat any gym leaders. Gilly is an extremely arrogant, selfish individual. He will never share his juice box unless you compliment him for at least five minutes straight. He constantly talks to himself about how great of a person he is. Every time he has such a conversation, he realizes how amazing he is. He will constantly show off his Pokémon and brag about their movesets and superior techniques. He hates being called by his real name, instead fancying a nickname he created himself - The Supreme Extreme. The incoherence of the nickname makes those around Gilly guess that he is actually mentally unstable. But he's a member of Team Rocket, so it's okay. Since most Team Rocket teams have two members, Gillford drew a girl on a piece of cardboard and named her "Mrs. Supreme Extreme". She looks like Plank from Ed, Edd n Eddy. She isn't drawn very well, so it's not always clear to people what exactly she is. Gilly is quite protective of his cardboard teammate. He loves using big, complicated words, though he rarely knows how to use them properly. Gillford is under the impression that anyone who even glimpses at his sheer awesomeness will fall in love with him (if they are a girl) or give him mad respect (if they are a boy). Gillford wants to become the leader of Kanto so that everyone will give him their Pokémon. He fantasizes about people giving him praise 24 hours a day. He writes in his diary about it. He doesn't really understand the goals of Team Rocket; instead, he just likes the looks of their costumes, so that's why he signed up. He is sent by the Team Rocket leaders to steal some rare Pokémon. This leads him to Ryan, and the two skirmish over Ryan's many cool-as-heck Pokémon. Gilly is very embarrassed by how his mother treats him like a little child, though he always seems to be skyping with her. Perhaps he likes the pain.
