| abstract | - In 2381, the Achilles was refitted with a quantum slipstream drive and assigned to Project Full Circle, a Starfleet expeditionary force into the Delta Quadrant, under the command of Commander Tillum Drafar. The Achilles was tasked with holding spare parts and equipped with industrial replicators which would be used by the whole fleet. (VOY novel: Full Circle) The Achilles went on a test flight with the Full Circle Fleet to Deneva. The Achilles started to lay down subspace relay stations along the route to the Delta Quadrant. The vessel met up with the rest of the fleet in the Delta Quadrant after making contact with Starfleet Command. (VOY novel: Unworthy) During August of the same year, the Achilles took on the survivors from the Omega Continuum crisis and returned them to the Alpha Quadrant. It had transported any detectable survivor onto the ship before the signals had degraded. (VOY novel: The Eternal Tide) In January of 2382, the Achilles found itself reassigned to the Full Circle Fleet, after the fleet successfully proved to Starfleet Command the mission to the Delta Quadrant was still viable.
