| abstract | - Gore Mountain is a ski resort in the Adirondack Mountains located in North Creek NY. Gore Mountain is one of the three state owned ski areas in all of of New York (The others being Whiteface Mountain and Belleayre Mountain)[1]. Gore Mountain has 73 Trails and 11 lifts which include 9 chairlifts a gondola, one j-bar, and a pomel lift. Gore mountain has a wide variety of terrain catering to alpine skiers of all levels featuring 10 greens, 37 blues, 9 blacks, 4 double blacks, and 13 glades, Gore also has 12 nordic trails for cross country skiing. Gore Mountain was voted in the "Top 10 for Value" by Ski Magazine in 2006, and is one of the most popular destinations for skiing and snowboarding in all of New York State.
