- Katarr was a colony world of the Miraluka which during the Jedi Purge (in 299 BTC) suffered complete annihilation at the hands of Darth Nihilus, rendering it uninhabitable. This planet had also been decided to be a meeting place for a convocation of Jedi including Jedi Master Vandar Tokare, but all the attending Jedi - and all but one Miraluka native - ended up victims of Nihilus' assault.
- Katarr was a colony world of the Miraluka race between Onderon and Dantooine. Although its continents were almost entirely covered by mountains, it had rather rich flora and fauna, including birds and trees. The Miraluka of Katarr built their cities with a rather distinctive, round-shaped architectural style. Katarr is currently the Capital of the Grey Jedi. They have their Temple on the planet and it where the Battle of Katarr took place he first and only battle in the New Jedi Civil War.
