Odo was able to determine a Dopterian was responsible by asking Lwaxana if she could telepathically sense any guilt from the patrons in the bar. Troi could not, leading Odo to the Dopterian. (DS9 episode: "The Forsaken") A group of Dopterians, along with members of other races, were trapped on Pacifica during the Borg Invasion of 2381, but were able to go home when the crisis was over. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace) In 2409, the Tal Shiar listening post Hephaestus recorded that Starfleet Intelligence was concerned with a rise of war profiteering by independent Dopterians and Ferengi.
