  • History of this race is unknown.
  • Count Wilhelm "Nosferatu" von Grauens (1763-?) was an actor, director, vampire, playwright and noted plagiarist from Romania. His best known work is probably the film Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens.
  • Nosferatu (リザイア) is Robin's only move that uses a Dark tome. It is Robin's Down Special Move. Nosferatu has a durability value of 4 and respawns after roughly 35 to 40 seconds after breaking, being the longest cooldown of all his tomes.
  • As a Scout leader, the Nosferatu has the highest movement of all Undead heroes, his innate item specialization is wearing magical boots. He also has an area of effect drain life attack. Just as the majority of other Undead units, the Nosferatu's attack has a "Death" source, and is the only Scout leader using a source that is not "Weapon". In the higher levels, due to his Drain Life attack, the Nosferatu can endure standing in the front row, leaving more space for the true undead strength - the casters - in the back row, along with your support units.

  • Nosferatu are Undead monsters in Fate.
  • Nosferatu is a 1922 German film.
  • In-game description of Immortal King Nosferatu. The Immortal King Nosferatu is a "fiend" found in Lohengrin Castle. He has the frightening ability to consume those who fight him, body and soul.
  • During Sen no Kiseki, it manifests in Lohengrin Castle and attacks Class VII. At the end of the fight, it paralyses the Thors students and readies a new attack. Before its attack could land, the orb it emerged from was pierced by Arianrhod, who threw her lance from a balcony, and disappeared as the students regained their consciousness. During Sen no Kiseki II, disturbances in the septium veins have it re-appear in Legram, enveloping the town into a thick layer of fog until it was defeated once again.
  • The film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel (for instance, "vampire" became "Nosferatu" and "Count Dracula" became "Count Orlok"). Stoker's heirs sued over the adaptation, and a court ruling ordered that all copies of the film be destroyed. However, one print of Nosferatu survived, and the film came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema.

  • Nosferatu is the German name for vampire. It also was the name given to a German, freely-adapted, unlicensed version of "Dracula", made in 1921. The dreaded name was reborn in the '70s as "Nosferatu the Vampyre". Background: Nosferatu (in the 1921 film, at least,) was the dreaded Count Orlock. He was depicted as a tall man with pointed teeth, a bald head, and a long nose. He lived in a castle in Transylvania but was moved to Germany by Hutter. He was eventually killed by sunlight. In 1979, Klaus Kinski brought back the horrors in Warner Herzog's "Nosferatu the Vampyre". I have not watched this film, so do not know much background on it. However, the 1921 film is one of my favorite horror films! Even so, Nosferatu is a permanent, yet small, edition to the Monster Family Tree.

It had the power to control the minds of several people at once he could also change his appearnce to that of a human. After killing several pepole with the help of his landlady and some restraunt owners under his control before being killed by Judge Joseph Dredd.
  • Nosferatu are believed to be a primitive form of vampire, granted continual existence and power by their curse, yet still suffering the ravages of time.
  • thumb Il Nosferatu è una creatura apparsa solamente in Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
  • The Nosferatu was Sabalom Glitz's ship. On Iceworld, it was taken by Kane as a down payment for his gambling debts, and to force him to use the map to the treasure of Svartos. During the emergency it was used to try to evacuate Iceworld, but it was rigged to explode, killing the refugees. Glitz later took over Iceworld and renamed it the Nosferatu II, intending to travel in it with his newly found ally Melanie Bush. (TV: Dragonfire)
  • Nosferatu is a bald, pale green humanoid creature wearing a leather mask with metallic clasps covering his bloody eye sockets. His movements are restricted by an article of clothing similar to a leather skirt reinforced with metal clasps around his legs. Even though his hands are tied behind his back with leather-and-metal bindings, he can still strike out with three appendages similar to spider legs that protrude from his back. His body produces a gas that upon contact with oxygen turns into a deadly fog. Nosferatu's weak point is his heart, which is exposed on his chest.
  • Nosferatu (ノスフェラトゥ Nosuferatu) are one of the four tribes from the Black World.
  • NosfeRATu is a friend of Lord Frydae XIII. His appearance is similar to a undead VurrMan.
  • The word nosferatu is used as a synonym for vampire, but it can also mean 'undead'. Nevertheless, its origin its somehow shrouded in mystery, the word itself became widely known because of Bram Stoker`s Dracula, in which he uses it as a synonym for undead in Romanian. There are several theories of the real meaning of the word and its origin however there doesn`t seem to be one that is fully correct.

  • Nosferatu was a 1922 German silent film. The film featured a vampire. Jean-Luc Picard and Robert Picard watched the film when they were children. When Picard first saw the Reman viceroy Vkruk, Picard thought he resembled the character in Nosferatu. (ST novelization: Star Trek Nemesis)
  • Nosferatu, like most Apostles, relishes conflict and battle. He enjoys facing the Gentleman's troops due to the near limitless supply of fresh opposition he meets, day after day. The sounds of mortars pounding concrete and gunfire rocking the air are like a cool summer breeze to him. He especially appreciates opponents who put up a fight against him, ones that refuse to die without a challenge.
  • Nosferatu are the most powerful form of Vampires. They are the most feared form of the Living Undead. They drink the blood of the living to maintain their unnatural existence. They have a natural ability to charm their victims before sucking out their life blood. At night, the Nosferatu are virtually invulnerable to attack. Garlic also seems to have no effect on them, despite most urban myths.
  • Nosferatu (リザイア Rizaia, lit. Resire; also known as Rizziah in the fan translations) is both a Light and Dark Magic spell in the Fire Emblem Series. Originally introduced as Black Magic in Fire Emblem Gaiden, it appears as a Dark spell in The Binding Blade, The Blazing Blade, The Sacred Stones, Awakening, and Fates; and as a Light spell in Mystery of the Emblem, Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn. In Mystery of the Emblem and its remake, this spell may only be cast by female magic users.
  • Even the damned have their nightmares and the Nosferatu, quite literally, embody them. Something in the Embrace, something in the blood of the Nosferatu lineage, distorts every member of the clan, twisting them in either body or aspect as deeply as the Embrace malforms their soul. A Nosferatu may display one or more physical deformities; these can range from simple to complex, from the merely repulsive or unsettling to the downright horrifying. Nothing and no one can predict what the Embrace will do to a given Noseferatu, and no two look exactly the same; some of these horrors still look completely human but are unsettling, unnerving, or jsut simply creepy in some intangible way. Notably, certain traits seem to follow in certain " families."
  • Nosferatu are famous and feared in the Human World, where they are incapable of living in sunlight safely. They subsist on the blood of others. They have great strength and speed along with several unique powers, such as transforming into bats, wolves, or smoke. Although they are unaffected by sunlight in the Netherworld, they still possess their other weaknesses, such as an aversion towards garlic and weakness to holy objects. Evilty: The Evilty of the Nosferatu is the same as that of a Succubus, however it effects the opposite gender of the Nosferatu. • Dark Vision out to 60 feet
  • Exploring and living in catacombs can have advantages, and Nosferatu gather information, pick up the loose threads to weave together, find lost relics and can even be what goes BUMP in the night, filling quite a few roles for the society they choose to be a part of. If you need information, they probably know it, but don't expect to get it for free. They are no fools, and have learned long ago no good deed goes unpunished.. Treat them with respect, you will receive it in return. Cheat them on a deal ... just don't cheat them on a deal.

Considering the themes behind naming Nosferatu's attacks (such as eternal damnation and servitude), the "Wings of Gehenna" maneuver most likely refers to the actual place within the Valley of Hinnom. Regarded as a literal hell on Earth, it has a dark history of human sacrifice, and has served as a disposal ground for the corpses of animals and humans alike. In Judeo-Christian lore, Gehenna is believed to be the final spiritual destination for the wicked, where they will receive due punishment for their sins.
  • Nosferatu will strike with a spider leg-like appendage that protrudes from its back. Be wary of this attack, as it can send Claire flying across the battle area or knocking her off the helipad, causing instant death. abstract
  • History of this race is unknown.
  • The name "Nosferatu" is derived from the Old Slavonic word "nosufuratu," which is borrowed from the Greek word "nosophoros," meaning "plague-carrier." The term does not actually signify "undead." Considering the themes behind naming Nosferatu's attacks (such as eternal damnation and servitude), the "Wings of Gehenna" maneuver most likely refers to the actual place within the Valley of Hinnom. Nosferatu is also used by F.W. Murnau in place of the word "vampire," as seen in the movie "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." Many forms of entertainment media have used the title "Nosferatu" for similar creatures.

  • Bounts originally consisted of a group of humans whom reached immortality through the consumption of the souls of other humans, as well as Shinigami and Quincy souls; allowing them to reach greater heights of power and capability. The Bounts were created by Ran'Tao as the accidental result of an explosion during an experiment by the predecessor to the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. The experiment was an attempt to develop eternal life using the already slow-aging Shinigami souls as the base, but the materials used in the experiment crossed with the development of souls in the real world and led to the creation of a new spiritually-active Human race, the Bounts. However, following a failed invasion in Soul Society all Bounts except for one were presumeably killed, and the means to creating them were erased from whatever files they'd were documented in. However, some time after this incident, members of the Yoriteishou: a group of human occultists happened upon the instructions on the summoning of a Doll. These tomes were studied and in unison, the group of occultists developed a means to replicate the process. The replication was somewhat imperfect though and the result was a new breed of Bounts much different from the original variety: despite being different though, the Yoriteishou found that it was incredibly useful and decided to sell instructions on how to become one of the new generation Bounts in the The Hidden Market - in the form of the so-called silver tomes: written recollections of their studies which include full instructions in regards to performing the ritual that creates a Doll, and turns the caster into one of these new Bounts at the end of the ceremony. However, these have later come to be renamed "Nosferatu" in acknowledgement of the fact that they're not "True" Bount, although its possible for them to change into them at a later stage in their "life".
  • Nosferatu will strike with a spider leg-like appendage that protrudes from its back. Be wary of this attack, as it can send Claire flying across the battle area or knocking her off the helipad, causing instant death. Standing too close to the Nosferatu will make the creature grab Claire and throw her backward. The Nosferatu's weak point is its heart, which is exposed on the chest. It can be targeted with the Sniper Rifle, which allows a first-person view of the battlefield. Nosferatu can spray a toxic, purple gas during its confrontation with Claire, by swinging its appendage (also can knock Claire to the ground). It is recommended that the player avoid it completely and rely on firearms, as Blue Herbs cannot treat its poison.
Notably, certain traits seem to follow in certain " families." Among the deformed members of this clan, some common disfigurements are: mottled or piebald skin, attenuated or stunted limbs, club feet, hollow-cheeked, cadaverous features, total baldness, blotchy, mold-like excrescences on their skin, pointed, flapped or cauliflower ears, elongated noses (or no nose at all, just slits), needle-like fangs, broad flat tusks, blackend, split or claw-like fingernails, a multitude of warts, skin that is grey, green or blue, eyes that bulge or that are yellowed, red, solid black or pallid white. Their skin may sag or bulge, look rubbery or leathery, like translucent parchment, or be deeply wrinkled with prominent, ropey veins. All these deformities and more may appear in any given Nosferatu. And then there is the smell. Not all Nosferatu have a particularly offensive odor, but some smell like death or rotting flesh, feces, or like graveyard mold or acid. Sometimes this is just an unavoidable result of where they choose to make their havens.

He has no qualms about scavenging weaponry off his enemies' corpses. In fact, he encourages it. After each battle, he himself will traverse an enemies' destroyed encampment and seize up as much scrap and working technology as he can. He has a quick adaptive ability with enemy technology, understanding how they work and function just by observing them being used against him once.
Nosferatu, unlike the low-power Vampire Revenants, retain their full intelligence and do not rot (in fact, they do not age, don't require sleep or food, other than human blood, and don't show any real emotions). They have pale skin, a pair of fangs among their upper teeth, and golden eyes. They can choose to turn a victim into another Vampire if they wish. These new Vampires are compelled to serve their creator, and are unable to directly oppose them. This bond may be broken if the master attacks the slave. Nosferatu showing love or compassion for living beings will inadvertently turn those into the Nosferatu themselves, however the latter ones will retain free will for up to 30 days before complete transformation.
  • Thomas Hutter lives in the fictitious German city of Wisborg. His employer, Knock, sends Hutter to Transylvania to visit a new client named Orlok. Hutter entrusts his loving wife Ellen to his good friend Harding and Harding's sister Ruth, before embarking on his long journey. Nearing his destination in the Carpathian mountains, Hutter stops at an inn for dinner. The locals become frightened by the mere mention of Orlok's name and discourage him from traveling to his castle at night, warning of a werewolf on the prowl. In his room, Hutter finds a book, The Book of the Vampires, which he peruses before falling asleep. The next morning, Hutter dresses and packs, light heartedly including the book in his bags. After a coach ride to a high mountain pass, the coachmen decline to take him any further, as nightfall is approaching. A sinister black swathed coach of an archaic design suddenly appears and the coachman (obviously Orlok in disguise) gestures for him to climb aboard. Past midnight, Hutter is welcomed at the castle by Graf Orlok himself, who excuses the poor welcome as the servants have all gone to bed. While Hutter has a late dinner, Orlok reads a letter. When Hutter cuts his thumb, Orlok tries to suck the blood out of the wound, but his repulsed guest pulls his hand away. Hutter then falls asleep exhausted in the parlor. He wakes up to an empty castle and notices fresh punctures on his neck, which he attributes to mosquitoes. That night, Orlok signs the documents to purchase the house across from Hutter's own home. Orlok sees Hutter's miniature portrait of his wife and admires her beautiful neck. Reexamining The Book of the Vampires, Hutter starts to suspect that Orlok is Nosferatu, the "Bird of Death". He cowers in his room as midnight approaches, but there is no way to bar the door. The door opens by itself and Orlok enters, his true nature finally revealed. At the same time, Ellen sleepwalks and screams for Hutter. She is somehow heard by Orlok, who leaves Hutter untouched. The next day, Hutter explores the castle. In its crypt, he finds the coffin in which Orlok is resting dormant. Horrified, he dashes back to his room. From the window, he sees Orlok piling up coffins on a coach and climbing into the last one before the coach departs. Hutter escapes the castle through the window by tieing together strips of the bed linen, but has to jump when his improvised rope runs out, and is knocked unconscious by the fall. He is taken to a hospital. When he is sufficiently recovered, Hutter hurries home. Meanwhile, the coffins are shipped down river on a raft. They are transferred to a schooner, but not before one is opened by the crew. Inside, they find soil and rats. Under the long-distance influence of Orlok, Knock starts behaving oddly and is confined to a psychiatric ward. Later, Knock steals a newspaper, which tells of an outbreak of an unknown plague spreading down the coast of the Black Sea. Many people are dying, with odd marks on their necks. Knock rejoices. The sailors on the ship get sick one by one; soon all but the captain and first mate are dead. Suspecting the truth, the first mate goes below to destroy the coffins. However, Orlok awakens and the horrified sailor jumps into the sea. Unaware of his danger, the captain becomes Orlok's latest victim. When the ship arrives in Wisborg, Orlok leaves unobserved, carrying one of his coffins. (A passage in The Book of the Vampires reveals that the source of a vampire's power is the soil in which he was buried.) He moves into the house he purchased. The next morning, when the ship is inspected, the captain is found dead. After examining the logbook, the doctors assume they are dealing with the plague. The town becomes stricken with panic. Hutter returns home. Ellen reads The Book of Vampires, despite his injunction not to, and learns how to kill a vampire: a woman pure in heart must willingly give her blood to him, so that he loses track of time until the cock's first crowing. There are many deaths in the town. The residents chase Knock, who has escaped after murdering the warden, mistaking him for a vampire. Orlok stares from his window at the sleeping Ellen. She opens her window to invite him in, but faints. When Hutter revives her, she sends him to fetch Professor Bulwer. After he leaves, Orlok comes in. He becomes so engrossed drinking her blood, he forgets about the coming day. A rooster crows and Orlok vanishes in a bit of smoke as he tries to flee. Ellen lives just long enough to be embraced by her grief-stricken husband. The last image of the movie is of Orlok's ruined castle in the Carpathian Mountains.

This tome is suitably named “Nosferatu” for its vampiric effect of absorbing HP from an enemy unit. It is especially unique in Gaiden, as it is the only weapon (apart from the Falchion) that can damage Duma after his HP has been depleted to 52. In Mystery of the Emblem and its remake, this spell may only be cast by female magic users. In The Sacred Stones, the Nosferatu tome is not available for purchase in any stores on the World Map, essentially meaning that only a few obtainable copies of the tome exist in any one given gameplay. Knoll joins the player's army with the tome as a starting item, and there is at least one available in a certain chest residing within the Tower of Valni. Furthermore, the shop at Narube River also offers this tome for sale when a battle takes place there, other than skirmishes in Creature Campaign.

Glitz later took over Iceworld and renamed it the Nosferatu II, intending to travel in it with his newly found ally Melanie Bush. (TV: Dragonfire)

Sein Film "Nosferatu – Eine Symphonie des Grauens" aus dem Jahre 1922 basiert auf dem Roman "Dracula".

The Nosferatu Vampires are an offshoot of the more humanoid vampires, and though they do possess similar powers, the Nosferatu is more in tune with it's natural abilities than other Vampires are. Type: Nosferatu are Outsiders with the Monster and Undead subtypes. Evilty: The Evilty of the Nosferatu is the same as that of a Succubus, however it effects the opposite gender of the Nosferatu. Vampiric Weakness Starting at 1st level, the Nosferatu has these following weaknesses. • Nosferatu cast no shadows and have no reflection in a mirror or a polished surface. • Nosferatu Take damage from direct sunlight. A vampire in direct sunlight takes 10 damage/level for every round the vampire stays in sunlight. Thankfully, most netherworld’s suns don’t effect them. • Nosferatu cannot cross pure running water unless they are in a coffin that contains a bit of their own grave dirt. • When in the human world, Nosferatu must be invited into someone’s home in order for them to enter, however in the Netherworld, a vampire can travel wherever they please. • A Nosferatu takes X2 damage from any attack from a Stake (Wooden OR Meat) • Nosferatu must make a fortitude save when in the presence of Garlic or become sickened for 1d4 rounds. The DC save is 18. Vampiric Bite At 2nd level the Nosferatu gains it's first Vampiric power. The Vampire heals ½ of the damage dealt with this attack. This replaces the 2nd level heritage power. Children of the Night (Su) Once per day at 7th level, a nosferatu can call forth 1d6+1 rat swarms, 1d4+1 bat swarms, or 2d6 wolves as a standard action. (If the base creature is not terrestrial, this power might summon other creatures of similar power.) These creatures arrive instantly and are treated as summoned creatures for the purpose of feats and abilities that effect summoned creatures. This replaces the 7th level heritage power. Change Shape (Su): A Nosferatu can use change shape to assume the form of a dire bat or wolf, as beast shape II, or alternatively, as a bat swarm. You also have the ability to take Gaseous form as if cast by a caster of your Nosferatu level, but it can remain gaseous indefinitely and has a fly speed of 20 feet with perfect maneuverability. Both of these abilities are At will. This replaces the 10th level heritage power. Energy Drain (Su): A creature hit by a Nosferatu's natural attack gains two negative levels. This ability only triggers once per round, regardless of the number of attacks a vampire makes. At 15th level these negative levels can effect creatures that are usually immune to negative levels, though they gain a fortitude saving throw DC: 10+1/2 the Nosferatu's Nosferatu levels+ Charisma modifier to negate them. This replaces the 13th level heritage power. Dominate (Su): 3 times per day, A Nosferatu can crush a humanoid opponent's will as a standard action. Anyone the vampire targets must succeed on a Will save or fall instantly under the vampire's influence, as though by a dominate person spell (caster level 12th). The ability has a range of 30 feet. Save DC is equal to 10 + 1/2 Nosferatu's level + Nosferatu's Cha modifier. This replaces the 16th level heritage power. The saving throws are equal to 10 + 1/2 the Nosferatu's Monster class level + Nosferatu's Charisma modifier. The spells that can be chosen are Desecrate, Hold Person, Inflict Moderate wounds, Bestow Curse, Enthrall, Animate Dead, Contagion, and Deeper Darkness. This replaces the 19th level heritage power. A Nosferatu can ignore the effects of sunlight, garlic, or any of it's normal weaknesses for a number of rounds equal to it's Charisma modifier. Activating this ability is an immediate action and lasts until the the same time it was activated the next round. While active a Vampire is treated as not possessing a weakness to any of it's listed weaknesses and does not take damage from sunlight, or take additional damage from Stakes. This replaces the 20th level Heritage power. Unholy King (Su) A display of ultimate power, this is the Nosferatu's true power shining through. Once per day as a full round action, the Nosferatu can become a grand beast of epic proportions. Activating this is a full round action. The Vampire becomes Huge Sized, taking a -2 penalty to armor class. In addition the Vampire gains a fly speed of 120 feet with Good maneuverability. The Vampire Tyrant gains a +6 Size Bonus to Charisma and a +8 Bonus to Strength. The Vampire gains Damage Reduction 5/Magic and Silver, that stacks with any previous DR as well as a deflection bonus to his AC equal to his Charisma modifier. Once during this transformation, the Vampire can cast Vampiric touch as per the spell cast by a 10th level caster. This transformation lasts a number of rounds equal to your Nosferatu level. This replaces the Lilith ability. 1st-Level Nosferatu Spells—arcane mark, bleed, dancing lights, daze, detect magic, detect poison, guidance, light, mending, message, putrefy food and drink, read magic, resistance, spark, stabilize, touch of fatigue 2nd-Level Nosferatu Spells— beguiling gift, cause fear, charm person, command, Command Undead, dancing lantern*, death knell, detect secret doors, hypnotism, identify, ill omen, mage armor, mask dweomer, Detect Thoughts, Suggestion, Unnatural lust, Pox Pustules 3rd-Level Nosferatu Spells—daze monster, enthrall, false life, glitterdust, hidden speech, hold person, perceive cues, scare, see invisibility, status, summon swarm, touch of idiocy, zone of truth, Charm Monster, Vampiric Touch 4th-Level Nosferatu Spells— animate dead, arcane sight, bestow curse, clairaudience/clairvoyance, dispel magic, glyph of warding, locate object, nature's exile, remove blindness/deafness, remove curse, remove disease, screech, seek thoughts, share senses, speak with dead, suggestion, tongues, twilight knife, Plague carrier 5th-Level Nosferatu Spells— arcane eye, black tentacles, charm monster, crushing despair, dimension door, discern lies, divination, fear, geas (lesser), locate creature, minor creation, moonstruck, neutralize poison, phantasmal killer, scrying, secure shelter, sleepwalk, solid fog 6th-Level Nosferatu Spells— break enchantment, contact other plane, dominate person, feeblemind, hold monster, major creation, prying eyes, telepathic bond, teleport, waves of fatigue 7th-Level Nosferatu Spells— Destruction, analyze dweomer, dispel magic (greater), geas/quest, guards and wards, legend lore, suggestion (mass), symbol of fear, symbol of persuasion, transformation, true seeing, unwilling shield, Ethereal Jaunt, Greater Teleport 8th-Level Nosferatu Spells— Create Greater Undead, arcane sight (greater), hold person (mass), plane shift, power word blind, regenerate, scrying (greater), teleport object, vision, waves of exhaustion 9th-Level Nosferatu Spells— antipathy, charm monster (mass), demand, discern location, irresistible dance, mind blank, prying eyes (greater), trap the soul, astral projection, dominate monster, hold monster (mass), soul bind 2nd-Level Nosferatu Techniques—**Love and Destroy (MC) 3rd-Level Nosferatu Techniques—**Delusions (MC), **Chaos Fire 5th-Level Nosferatu Techniques—**Chaos Swarm 7th-Level Nosferatu Techniques—**Summon Vampire (MC), **Chaos Force 9th-Level Nosferatu Techniques—**Judgment Sword (MC), **Chaos Plasma
