Wenn es doch wenigstens einen stillen Raum gäbe, am besten den Schlafraum. Aber nein, überall im Schiff hörte man es summen, rasseln oder sirren. In jedem Winkel des Raumschiffs lief irgendein Gerät, das ihn mit seinen Geräuschen wahnsinnig machte. Was hatte ihn nur dazu bewogen, dieser Reise zuzustimmen? Sicher, er würde der erste Mensch sein, der das Sonnensystem verlässt und einen anderen Stern besucht. Aber war es das wirklich wert? Inzwischen war er sich da gar nicht mehr sicher. Und überhaupt, dass er alleine flog, warum hatte er sich darauf eingelassen? Nun, er hatte eigentlich nicht gedacht, dass es ihm etwas ausmachen würde, denn er war ohnehin eher ein Einzelgänger. Er hätte nie gedacht, dass er einmal das Zahlen an der Supermarktkasse vermissen würde. Und es war ja auch eine Notwendigkeit gewesen. Denn mit mehreren Besatzungsmitgliedern wäre die Mission gar nicht möglich gewesen, jedenfalls nicht mit dem vorhandenen Raumschiff. Es hätte einfach zu viel Energie und Ressourcen verbraucht. Und er hätte nicht im Traum gedacht, dass ihm das was ausmachen würde, so lange alleine zu fliegen. Na gut, dass auch noch die Kommunikation ausfallen würde, damit war nicht zu rechnen gewesen. Jetzt war er vollständig von der Erde abgekoppelt und auf sich gestellt. Er kannte seine Mission in- und auswendig, dafür war der Kontakt also eigentlich nicht notwendig, Und die Menschen auf der Erde würden die aufgenommenen Bilder eben erst zu sehen bekommen, wenn er wieder zurückkehrte. Jetzt einfach umdrehen. Einfach die Mission Mission sein lassen, das Raumschiff wenden und zur Erde zurückfliegen. Das hätte er jetzt gerne gemacht. Aber er wusste, das ging nicht. Dazu reichte der Treibstoff nicht aus. Er brauchte die Gravitation von Alpha Centauri, um umzukehren und wieder den Heimweg antreten zu können. Und da er mit dem Raumschiff nicht aus eigener Kraft landen konnte, wäre dann seine ganze vieljährige Mission umsonst gewesen, und er würde entweder an der Erde vorbei wieder in die unendlichen Weiten des Alls fliegen, oder aber in die Erdatmosphäre eindringen und verglühen … Ohne darüber nachzudenken, griff er spontan ans Schaltpult. Im nächsten Moment war das spärliche Licht im Raumschiff verloschen, und auch die Geräusche waren auf einen Schlag verstummt. Er wusste: Wenn der Strom einmal abgeschaltet war, konnte er nicht wieder eingeschaltet werden. Das war ein Konstruktionsfehler dieses Raumschiffs, der allen Astronauten bekannt war. Irgendein falsch geschaltetes Relais trennte die Hauptleitung, sobald es stromlos war, und sobald die Hauptleitung getrennt war, blieb das Relais natürlich stromlos, Daher wurde jedem Astronauten eingebläut, dass der Strom niemals abgeschaltet werden durfte. Und in all den Jahren, in denen das Raumschiff nun schon benutzt wurde, hatte auch jeder Astronaut diese Warnung beherzigt. Seit der ersten Inbetriebnahme war der Strom im Schiff niemals ausgeschaltet worden. Niemals, bis gerade eben. Er wusste, dass nun, nachdem die Systeme nicht mehr arbeiteten, der Sauerstoff noch etwa für zwei Stunden reichen würde. Zwei Stunden, eher er langsam das Bewusstsein verlieren würde. Zwei Stunden noch, dann wäre seine Mission zu Ende. Endgültig. Er lehnte sich zurück, blickte hinaus zu den Sternen und lauschte der Stille.   • The Astronaut is a new type of enemy who appears in the map Moon. He will look just like any other player when they have P.E.S active, but the Astronaut does not carry any weapons. The Astronaut walks slowly. About as slow (or slower than) George A. Romero in his "calmed" state, and even when there IS gravity, he will walk just as fast, and will float as if there is NO gravity. When the Astronaut grabs the player, he/she will have about two or three seconds to escape, and his/her movement speed is heavily decreased. If he/she doesn't escape, the Astronaut will head butt the player, and when he does, the player will be teleported to a random part of the map. (Note: The room he sends you to must be opened) Also, when he head butts players, whether they have Juggernog or not, their health will go down to about 25. (Meaning only one hit is required to down players.) And a random perk that players have will be lost unless they've finished the easter egg. If players escape, he will just start to slowly chase the players again. There are four ways to escape the Astronaut's grip. 1. * Turn around as soon as he grabs you, and start sprinting. 2. * Kill him before he head butts you. (Note: Only works if his health is low.) 3. * Turn around and perform a dive. If successful, your legs will kick him in the face, and he will stumble backwards. 4. * Shake your left thumbstick. The Astronaut has a very high amount of health. His health increases each round, and the more players, the more health he has. (With one player, his health is regular, two players it is x2, ECT.) When the Astronaut is killed, instead of falling down like a regular Zombie, he will explode with the same effect as a Q.E.D explosion. If you kill him with no gravity and you are near him, you will be flung into the air. The first time the Astronaut will spawn will be somewhere from Round one to four. After killing him, he will spawn again every two to four Rounds. He spawns just like a HellHound, with a burst of electricity. When looking at an Astronaut, he will have a red name over him. When playing on Solo or Split screen mode, his name will be something random like Gordon or Luke or (rarely) Teddy. But when playing on a Private Match or Find a Match mode, his name will be the name of one of the Host's friends. The Astronaut cannot use Launch Pads or Teleporters, and cannot spawn in Area 51.
