The company was founded on the 27th September 2003 with headquarters in Taizhou, Zhejiang. The campus covers an area of 268,000 m² . Production began with the Gonow AGE, the initial phase of 60,000 units per year were produced. Gonow enlarged in 2005 for about 351.5 million ¥ its grounds as much as 100 acres and increased production to 200,000 units per year.
