(ST video game: Starship Creator) By 2363, Zimbata had reached the rank of captain, and was assigned as commanding officer of the Constellation-class USS Victory In that year, during an inspection at Starbase 324, he met Jean-Luc Picard. Though he initially considered Picard a "Scrooge", he altered his opinion when Picard offered to help one of Zimbata's officers, Ensign Geordi La Forge, advance his career by recommending him for a post aboard the USS Hood. He returned Picard's favor several years later by giving Tasha Yar to him as Chief of Security when he took command of the Enterprise.
