The Man in the Moon appears in the Mother Goose Stories episode, "Man in the Moon." Grover also encountered the Man in the Moon in Astro-Grover, a 1987 computer game. In the game, players help Grover to count Zips from the planet Zap. If the count is incorrect, the Man in the Moon shakes his head and encourages the player to try again.
