Has literally no character arc or development whatsoever - and even when placed face to face with the darkness of his soul apparently accepts who he is and dies an unrepentant pedo child murderer; actually taking pride in this in his last moments. Epic. Apparently making a pointless, despicable character who never redeems himself was intentional, because they didn't want to "outright redeem this horrible, horrible man." Wow, thanks for subjecting us to his terrible presence in 8 episodes for nothing. Even worse, he grew to be a strangely likeable anti-hero toward the end of the series, so now you have the audience actually sympathizing with him. Bravo.
