  • Silenus
rdfs:comment
  • The tutor and companion of the Greek god Dionysus. He was said to be the most drunk, wisest and oldest of all of the god´s companions and that he possessed the power of prophecy when drunk. Although most of Dionysus companions were satyrs, Silenus was not one of them but a sileni, a creature similar to a satyr but with horse features instead of goat ones.
  • Silenus is a satyr and member of the Council of Cloven Elders. He is strong-willed and often believes that his cause is more important than anyone elses. In Greek Mythology, Silenus was a companion and tutor to Dionysus.
  • Silenus is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest game series.
  • Silenus has an amazing "power"; when he calls out for refreshments, grapes grow all over the place. He was mentioned when Narnia was free again and the Old Narnians became friends with the Telmarines of Telmar. He was known to be an old man that rode a donkey.
  • The Silenus, also known as the Sirenos, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III that can be encountered in the Ancient Ruins. It will split in two if he is attacked by a weapon other than a Dark Sword or when not inflicted with Paralysis. For this reason alone, it would be highly recommended to bring along a couple Ancient Swords, bought in these ruins in the NES version, to help with dealing with these enemies. If it is attacked with magic, it will not split in two.
