It quickly became a massive factory complex that produced countless new Manhunters which numbered up to 40.3 billion such androids present on the planet. The Guardians were well aware of the existence of the Manhunters in this forbidden region of space as the androids had retreated to that location and decided not to interfere or allow their enforcers to that world as they did not want to risk awakening the Manhunters. Whilst the Manhunters remained directionless, they were eventually taken control of by a new Grandmaster; Hank Henshaw, also known as the Cyborg Superman. He quickly redirected Manhunter operations and plans from Biot in order to continue his plans of destroying all life.
