  • [[Category:Daily ]] [[Category:]] Phantasmal terrain is a spell of the illusion school illusion used by wizardly initiates to hinder their enemies. When cast, phantasmal terrain creates the illusion of forbidding and difficult to cross terrain within an area of five feet in radius within 100 feet of the wizard. This effect can last for several minutes, slowing the movements of creatures within by as much as half, who become so distracted that they become vulnerable to far more mundane traps and hazards. Phantasmal terrain is taxing on the mind of its caster, however, and can only be cast once per day.
  • Phantasmal terrain was originally published in the "Class Acts: Wizard" article about illusion powers by Rodney Thompson in Dragon #364.[Dr364:69] Phantasmal terrain was republished in Arcane Power with a range of area burst 3.[AP:103] The range was corrected back to area burst 2 in the April 2009 update.[U:4/2009]
