When the Beedrill found out Weedle didn't free itself from the Ursaring, they disowned Weedle. Jon and Weedle decided to travel together after this. After a while, Jon was training Weedle when a stampede of Rhyhorn took Weedle and Jon. This strengthed Weedle as it was terrifeid and Weedle wanted to protect Jon. Weedle evolved into Kakuna and then quickly into Beedrill in Stampede Wonders. When Beedrill evolves, Jon realised the Mega Stone he got from the Scile Tournament is for Beedfrill, allowing Beedrill to Mega Evolve. Beedrill is Jon's sencond Mega Evolving Pokemon.
