Heroes of Wrestling featured a double main event, a Fatal-4-Way match for the EWE Championship between Super Nova, Kevin Gillmore, Tommy Cage and Joe Heart who had temporarily returned to wrestling and a one-on-one contest for the World Heavyweight Championship with Jeff Wilon challenging champion The Outsider. The event also featured a Heroes of Wrestling Gauntlet which featured various wrestlers from EWE's first run in 2003-04.
