  • Mole, oddly enough, is not a Po-Matoran. It is said he is a Matoran of Sonics who grew up on an island of sound. Not long after he turned 15, his island was attacked by the Sytra army. Shortly after the island's downfall Mole joined the 1st matoran movement, a small fleet of boats full of homeless Matoran. After many years of travel the ships found an old island. • Not uncommon in stronger, higher ranked guilds with large memberships, a mole is a guild member with conflicting intentions. Their usual mode is to collect information about guild strategies, base locations and other strategic information and to relay this information to rival guilds and empires. Moles are usually a high risk of infiltration after the recent assimilation of rival guilds. Assimilation builds the ranks of guild membership, but their loyalties may be in question if their membership was the result of hostile pressure.

A simple hit from any attack is more than enough to dispatch them. However, they can be defeated only by Carmelita using her Shock Pistol, as they will burrow up again from the snow to continue patrolling if given enough time.
  • The mole, also known as Avagadro's number, has a value of 6.02 * 1023 It is used due to the fact that it is the number of molecules required to make a mass that is equal to the relative atomic mass in grams.

  • Mole is a retired pirate living on Buccaneer's Den. When the Avatar met in Ultima VII, Mole was reluctant to share the story of how he got his name, since it turned out his mother named him that after she'd given birth to him in a cave. He said he wanted to enjoy his retirement in peace. So the Avatar left to give Blacktooth the good news.

  • The mole is a way of quantifying numbers of particles in such a way that their interactions can be quantified. Like a dozen, the value of a mole does not change between substances. The mole can be used to quantify a number of atoms, molecules, or even formula units of an ionic structure. To find the mass of a mole of a molecule or formula unit, simple sum the masses of the components.

  • I wish I could publish this stuff. It's newsman paydirt. Sinclair says Ryan's making a move against Sofia Lamb, and they want to cut me in on the action. They're building a case that Lamb's a closet pinko. Sort of an undercover thing -- so, I cozy up to this guy Wales who works for Lamb, makin' like I want to join up. Then I find out whether he grew his beard for Jesus... or Karl Marx.

  • Mine Ordnance Launcher Equipment (MOLE) is a modular mine launching system. The system consists of modular dispensers which can be fired to either side or to the rear, mounted on six sets of turntables on a flat bed. It uses either conventional pressure actived anti tank mines, the M320 Anti Tank Mine, useful against armoured vehicles using treads or wheels, though being phased out in favour of the M341 Anti Tank Mine that use a mixture of pressure, magnetic induction and vibrations to detect vehicles and vent almost a dozen incediary flechettes into the underbelly of a armoured vehicle via an explosive charge. These catch fire inside it and burn it internally. It also fires M121 Bounding Anti Personnel Mine which bound up when the sensor network detects a hostile combatant and sprays their direction with tungsten fragments. These mines are carried in canisters, (each of which hold six mines with up to 40 canisters), and are carried on a launcher rack. These are on the rear of the flatbed and discharge the mines either side as the launcher moves across the terrain. A dispenser control unit provides fire signals, testing and arming of the self-destruct mechanism. Also, these mines can be activated and deactivated with 1000 digit codes to allow friendlies to pass through the field, along with IFF detection and querying. This means they cannot be bombarded with random codes to simply deactivate them.

  • "The Mole" was the informal name of a type of mining vehicle used throughout the Federation in the mid 23rd century. It was equipped with a large forward phased energy drilling array, and had multi-terrain treads in addition to maneuvering thrusters and magnetic plates to navigate in low-gravity environments. Montgomery Scott learned how to operate and maintain such vehicles early in his Starfleet career, when his ship ferried a group of miners to the new colony on Rigel XII. Later, in 2263, he got to help operate a Mole carried aboard the Starfleet Corps of Engineers ship USS Lovell while excavating a cave-in at Outpost 5. Scott later removed this Mole's flow regulator in order to maintain emergency power on the Outpost. (SCE eBook: Foundations, Book One)

  • A mole, or more properly a melanocytic nevus, is a generally benign type of lesion that contains melanin producing cells. Only about one of 100 babies is born with a mole, they commonly grow on most individuals in the first twenty years of their life and for the most part fade as a person grows older. Moles can be raised above the skin, can be under the skin, or can even form spherical lesions outside the skin (skin tags). They are more common in people with lighter skin tones, although they can appear in anyone. People of European descent average about thirty. Moles can put a person at higher risk for melanoma, particularly if they are exposed to a lot of ultraviolet radiation. Moles are suspect if they are not round, are asymmetrical, have inconsistent color, are very large, or change over time. However, even those such moles are unlikely to be malignant. As moles are usually benign, removal is contra-indicated as this can lead to pain and scarring.

It can be hard to dodge since the Mole tends to burrow during the fight making it harder to predict where it will pop up. Be sure to take one or two shots each time it pops up since you may end up shooting dirt when it begins to burrow.
  • Mole was a member of the Morlocks, a group of mutants and other humans who established a society in the sewers beneath Manhattan. During the events of the Mutant Massacre, a gang of mercenaries known as the Marauders attacked and slew many of the Morlocks. Mole, along with his friend Chickenwings, fled the Morlock Alleys, and lived for a time in the alleys on the streets of Manhattan. However, one of the Marauders, a mutant known as Sabretooth, continued to hunt down and kill off any Morlocks he could. Sabretooth located and attacked Mole and Chickenwings. Mole's friend attempted to fight off Sabretooth and met his end, giving Mole enough of a lead to escape Sabretooth using his burrowing power. Mole made his way to the basement of Acme Records, which he established as a temporary hiding place. He was discovered by an employee, Opal Tanaka, who felt sympathy for him, allowing him to hide there and bringing him food and clothing. Soon after this, Opal began dating the mutant member of X-Factor, Bobby Drake, the Iceman. Both jealous of Opal's interest in Drake, and fearing that he may be seeking to harm her, Mole followed the two on their date. Growing angry watching Opal and Drake interact, Mole inadvertently disintegrated a portion of a crane, causing it to drop on the two. Believing it to be an attack from an evil mutant, Drake fought back, although Opal stopped the fight as soon as she recognized Mole. Opal and Drake explained their relationship to Mole, who feeling sorry for himself, returned to the Morlock tunnels. Unfortunately, Sabretooth was waiting for him there.

Able to be operated by a minimum of two pilots and one engineer, the mole can function for at least two days straight without needing repairs. During the Guild Wars, some of the more poorer colonies used them as tanks by welding whatever weapons they could find. Because its armor was made to resist extreme pressures and heat, the mole could take punishment from most small to medium caliber arms. When military forces began using more powerful anti-tank weapons, the armor was quickly rendered useless. Eventually, the mole was phased out by the more efficient and cost effective SCVs. Special abilities: * Tunnel - creates a 200 HP opening that allows ground forces of any faction to move across the map * Deploy Mining charge - releases a device that deals 80 explosive splash damage * Heat shielding (upgrade) - mole gains +100 HPs and +3 armor * Autocannon (upgrade) - mole gains a 6 damage ground attack

  • The mole is a way of quantifying numbers of particles in such a way that their interactions can be quantified. Like a dozen, the value of a mole does not change between substances. The mass of 1 mole will, however, vary by the type of particle involved. This was set by measuring the number of particles in a 12g sample of carbon-12. Mole is sometimes abbreviated mol. It is important to note that 1 mole of any single element will have a mass equivalent to the element's average atomic mass, in grams. The element's amu mass can be changed directed to grams by virtue of the number selected, without any conversion. The mole can be used to quantify a number of atoms, molecules, or even formula units of an ionic structure. To find the mass of a mole of a molecule or formula unit, simple sum the masses of the components.
