  • Terminus was the first city on the planet that was built by the People of Novus after they colonized the planet. The city was high tech until berzerker drones began to attack the planet and the town, because of technology, which attracted them. The people moved their Stargate to another city so they could save as many of their people as possible. The people abandoned the city and escaped through the Stargate. The city had also published a newspaper, Terminus Tymes. Some parts of the city were destroyed. (SGU: "Blockade")

He is responsible for crushing a number of heroes, including heroes as high as a-class, and is labeled a demon level disaster.

  • This is quite possibly the most uneventful Doctor Who story ever made for TV. It's an idea that easily could've been told in 2 parts at most, but for some reason it was decided, either by Gallagher or by JNT, that it should be padded out to fill the four part format. As a result, its first three and a half episodes are just characters running down corridors (which may just sound like a typical Doctor Who episode anyway but trust me, it feels even more bland and tedious here), before telling us how the universe was created from the fuel discharge of a time-travelling leper colony spaceship, a concept that makes "the Moon is an egg" seem positively sane in comparison. At least the Part 1 cliffhanger is good for a laugh.

The treatment involved using the radiation from Terminus's engines in uncontrolled doses to remove the disease, often with a lethal amount of radiation. The Lazars were transported to Terminus using computer-controlled ships with no living crew, only robotic attendants. Megatron, though, guesses correctly at Shokaract's intentions, and he slinks into the cave to fire upon the Dark Essence. It seems that Unicron is in constant danger of being pulled back to 2005, and the threat posed by Megatron's onslaught is critical. So Shokaract uses the future Dark Essence that he carries with him to cement the past Dark Essence's hold in space-time.
  • Through generating the entropic fields of the Void, a Voidborn was capable of shrouding themselves in Void energies. The most common application of Terminus exercised by the Voidborn of the Charon Dominion was to eliminate their presence, or lack thereof, in the Force. This ability was noted as being separate from the manner in which the Yuuzhan Vong were absent in the Force, and early in the Extant War, the Jedi power of attempted to sense vacancies in the Force was discovered to be ineffectual against the Voidborn.

  • Shokaract begins to live up to his name. As he and the Beasties battle, the Covenanti arrive from the future and assault him as well. Meanwhile, temporal reality begins to break apart: Beast Warriors from alternate timelines (like Polar Claw and Torca) are pulled into the melee. Plus several G1 figures (such as Optimus Prime and Megatron) also arrive from the future, having reconsidered their J'nwan solitude. Even Apelinq, who had silently observed the Beast Wars for quite some time, pitches in at last. As Shokaract fends off these new combatants, he somehow resurrects the mind-wiped Antagony and atomized Cataclysm. However, the Covenanti turn themselves into energy beings and enter his Matrix of Conquest, where they merge into a Primus-like being, fight Unicron's Essence and sever the bond that's holding the past Essence in place. As the past Essence is pulled to its final destiny, history begins to rewrite itself. Transwarp portals open for all the displaced combatants, and as they retreat to their own times and places, Shokaract explodes mightily. And finally, we see the Hunter, on his way to the cave where his dark destiny awaits, but what he discovers is nothing at all.

This ability was noted as being separate from the manner in which the Yuuzhan Vong were absent in the Force, and early in the Extant War, the Jedi power of attempted to sense vacancies in the Force was discovered to be ineffectual against the Voidborn. Terminus was also utilized by the Charon to immunize a Voidborn to a Force-sensitive's Force Sense. In this application, a Voidborn was also capable of making the recollection of their appearance difficult, if not impossible, in the minds of most sapients. On more than one occasion, many sapients were observed as not being able to remember individuals when utilizing Terminus, and even when they could, they were unable to recall how, why, or who the Voidborn was. These effects were known to be less effective with Force-sensitives. When increased in intensity, a Voidborn could even make their presence unnoticeable altogether, rendering them beyond or beneath the notice of others in such a way that they effectively became invisible. Another known application of Terminus was for a Voidborn to more densely concentrate their shroud of Void energy, which enabled them to negate Force abilities directed at them by severing the presence of the Force around them. Taken to extreme lengths, some Voidborn were even capable of generating the effects of Terminus akin to a field, able to negate the presence of the Force within a specific area of their proximity. Through this, a Voidborn was capable of effectively severing a Force-sensitive's connection to the Force, and even disabling a lightsaber by canceling the Force energy within the lightsaber crystals. The only known adverse conditions of Terminus was that a Voidborn was unable to utilize other powers of the Void while generating their Void shroud, and were unable to perform multiple applications of Terminus simultaneously.

Terminus, on the other hand, was crewed by slave labour, the Vanir, whose continued work for the Company was assured by the strict control of the drug Hydromel, which protected them from Lazar's Disease. The Fifth Doctor theorised that before it was discovered and used by the Company, Terminus had been capable of time travel, and that, having journeyed to the beginning of time to dump unstable fuel, had caused the explosion which created the universe (and, eventually, the ship itself, creating an ontological paradox). Thus, Terminus was located at the centre of the known universe. Were a similar fuel dump to take place again, the resulting explosion would destroy the universe. The control centre of Terminus was badly damaged and the main computer faulty, so a near-cataclysmic fuel dump was authorised, but prevented by the Garm — the only being on board with the strength to operate the manual control. The radiation leak on Terminus meant that a large portion of the ship's interior was isolated. It was called the "Forbidden Zone"; anyone other than the Garm who entered would be subjected to lethal amounts of radiation which could be cured only by intensive decontamination. Nyssa discovered that, with the help of the Garm and the Vanir, Terminus could be made into a functional hospital and the treatment for Lazar's Disease could be perfected. Nyssa chose to stay on Terminus when the TARDIS departed, to assist in the curing of the Lazars and to help the Vanir produce their own Hydromel. (TV: Terminus) There were also facilities on Terminus for psychiatrists. (AUDIO: The Cradle of the Snake)
