However his experiments gave him an unusual side-effect and changed his appearance making his eyes turn jaundice and his skin pale. He later rescued the Mummy planning to use his radium coated bandages to unlock the secrets of invulnerability. However, the Mummy and Mastermind could not cooperate with each other and Mastermind ended up killing his ally before unlocking his secrets. His evil plans were always stopped by his nemesis Lash Lightning. His powers included lightning projection, teleportation, and limited super strength. He was also a genius with a self-described "super brain." Besides his intellect and powers Mastermind also was skilled in hand to hand combat and marksmanship using weapons such as swords and firearms at times.

  • Robert Deshone Higginbottom (Better known as Mastermind or Sparta's only Mastermind) is an avid player of Cyber Nations, a text base online-roleplaying game, in which you create and run a nation, as if it were real life. Higginbottom is a member of the in-game alliance known as Sparta, a gaming clan of Cyber Nations largely based on the actual Sparta, located in Greece, Germany. Higginbotom, or Mastermind, applied for membership to Sparta almost two months to the day he joined Cyber Nations, in June 2007. However, Mastermind was limited in the time that he could be active, and was thus largely inactive. This was furthered when, at some point, Sparta moved their base of operations to a different forum, unknown to Mastermind for several months. Mastermind did not realize the alliance had moved their forums, and is thus only considered a member since April 4, 2008. Sparta has a multitude of different jobs available, of which Mastermind applied for, and was accepted for several. As such, Mastermind serves as a Lieutenant, Diplomat, "Ghostbuster", Recruiter, and a member of the Spartan Propaganda Corp. At a point in the past, he served as a member of the 8 man senate, but was not eligible for re-election, due to temporary inactivity. He also served as a Professor of Academy at some point, and plans to apply again near the end of January 2009. Mastermind is well known for his consistent references to mecha, for which he has a real life fascination with. He is also noted for generally speaking in the third person. However, it is also of note that Mastermind is one of the most hardest working Spartans, having obtained a seat in the senate with relative in experience. Of late, he has decided to make Diplomacy his calling, planning to make full use of his negotiating skills, in conjunction with his apparent people skills. Mastermind has made no secret of his discontent with no longer being seated in the spartan senate. As such, he has already formally announced intention to run for the March Senate, made official in Sparta's private IRC channel. He has also stated he hopes to one day assume a position in upper government, more specifically dealing with foreign affairs. It has been hinted Mastermind also hopes to ascend to kingship in Sparta one day.

Her older sisters name is Taylor. She disappeared when Emerson was 13 years old and no one knows what happen to her. When Emerson was 10 her mother murdered her father. Emerson later found out the her father had raped her mother and that was how she was conceived. Even though she never really met the man she holds a deep hatred of him. She isn't comfortable around most males unless she's known them a very long time. Emerson loves reading and writing "letters" to her sister. It's her way of keeping her sisters memory close to her. She keeps a book of these "letters" and tried to write a new one every day. She is a very introvert person and doesn't make friends easily. One say she wants to be a psychiatrist and help people understand mutants and help mutants come to terms with what they are. Her powers manifested by accident when she sent a telepathic illusion of a rain forest to a small group of kids. It seemed so real to everyone that walked into it that she though something was wrong with everyone till her mother explained she was a mutant. Excited and scared about the whole thing she asked her mother a ton of questions. Lucinda felt she wasn't able to answer all her daughters questions so she made a few phone calls and found out about a school in America called Massachusetts Academy, a school made for mutants. After talking to Emerson she decided to send her there to learn more and enjoy the American lifestyle.
