- Kaminari is a very unpredictable individual, He seems to run on an unlimited supply of energy as he is always Energetic and never seems tired or sad. Kaminari's morality is something questionable, while he seems to be a nice guy on his way to becoming a hero, he's completely fine with being friends with assassins, murderers, or anything of the sort as long as he likes them. He however can hate a Hero who only does good because of a single action. Once his mind is set on a task his mind doesn't turn anywhere else, he would focus 100% of his brain capacity to finish said task no matter what he has to do.

- Kami may, at its root, simply mean "spirit", or an aspect of spirituality. It is written with the kanji "神", Sino-Japanese reading shin or jin; in Chinese, the character is used to refer to various nature spirits of traditional Chinese religion, but not to the Taoist deities or the Supreme Being. An apparently cognate form, perhaps a loanword, occurs in the Ainu language as kamui and refers to an animistic concept very similar to Japanese kami. Following the discovery of the Jōdai Tokushu Kanazukai it is now known that the medieval word kami (上) meaning "above" is a false cognate with the modern kami (神), and the etymology of "heavenly beings" is therefore incorrect. Shinto kami are located within the world and not above it. Because Japanese does not normally distinguish singular and plural in nouns, it is sometimes unclear whether kami refers to a single or multiple entities. When a singular concept is needed, "-kami"(神) or "-kamisama"(神様) is used as a suffix. It is often said jokingly that there are "eight million kami"(八百万の神happyakuman no kami) in Japan. This is because "八百万" can be read in two different ways, often meaning "countless"(八百万ya-o-yorozu) instead. Similarly, gender is also not implied in the word kami, which can be used to refer to either male or female kami. The word "megami"(女神), meaning female kami is a relatively recent addition to the language and is rarely, if ever, used in traditional sources.
- Kami (神様, Kami-sama; lit. "God," "deity" or "divine being") is a supporting protagonist in the Dragon Ball manga and its anime adaptations Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. He is one of the beings that have served as a Guardian of the Earth. Throughout a majority of the story, the character known as Kami on Earth is a wise Namekian who no longer even remembers his real name. It was revealed, however, that his father's name was Katas. As a nameless Namekian, he hatched on planet Namek in Age 242 and, as a child, was launched by Katas into outer space in a Namekian spaceship which requires at least a basic knowledge of the Namekian language to pilot. Kami is also the Namekian that created King Piccolo and Earth's version of the Dragon Balls.
- Kami is a character from the Dragonball franchise. He was the guardian of the Earth, and together with Mr. Popo lived upon the Lookout. He trained Son Goku as well as his friends later in the series. In the end he combined with his other half Piccolo, and they were one once again. In Dragon Ball GT, because Kami has merged with Piccolo, Kami has died when Piccolo sacrificed himself to protect all the humans when the Earth blew up.

- Kami was a Thirteenth generation smart AI, created for the sole purpose of supporting the UNSC's SPARTAN-IV program. Kami was created to be the battlefield support AI of SPARTAN-144 and Lambda Company. Despite her somewhat upbeat appearance, she was somewhat of a loner, matching well with 144. She occassionally exhibited borderline depression, which made technicians fear rampancy. Kami was noted for keeping mostly to herself, submitting reports and updates in a flat tone, and many in Lambda believed she had little personality. Her chosen avatar was based on the AI Cortana, whom Kami studied and chose to try and imitate.
- Kami was a namekian and the former guardian of Earth. Kami was the positive essence whilst King Piccolo was his ousted evil essence.
- Though "kami" is a Japanese word for spirits, in capitalized form it has also been used by Garou and other shapeshifters around the world to refer to a breed of half-spirit entities in the service of Gaia. These Kami are Gaia's equivalent to the Wyrm's Fomori or the Weaver's Drones, but are far rarer than Fomori (Drones may be rarer still, but are basically indestructible, while Kami may or may not even possess combat prowess). Most are created by binding a Gaian spirit into a human, animal, or even a plant or landform, although some Kami are "naturally occurring", the result of a spiritual awakening in a section of the natural world. Technically, the changing breeds could have originated as Kami, though they are not currently considered such. Several varieties of kami exist:
* Human Kami - Fusions of a human being and a Gaian spirit, these are extremely rare, but possess an understanding of the nature of Gaia unheard-of in normal humans, and thus are very valuable to the Gaian cause (although Garou may view them as ill-appreciated rivals). They may or may not be visibly transformed by their connection to Gaia. A few are combat-capable, but most develop healing or cleansing powers.
* Animal Kami - Animals of any variety can become kami hosts; they generally develop human-level (though not necessary human-like) intelligence, and may have powers enough to be formidable opponents even when small in size.
* Plant Kami - Generally ancient trees imbued with sentience and mobility, these are among the most likely Kami to awaken spontaneously rather than be created by a ritualist, although this occurs only in locations of deep wilderness which are either untouched by humanity or frequented only by spiritualistic native cultures.
* Awakened Landscapes - Entire regions and ecosystems may have a "genius loci" or regional spirit which is aware and able to influence events in the area; these kami are almost never artificially created, but evolve in areas where Gaia's power is strong (before the sundering, all areas of Earth might have possessed such spirits). Usually these kami will manifest their power subtly, through movements of local animals, plants, landforms or even people, but they can also sometimes act directly by manifesting an avatar, although they cannot move from the region they represent.
* Rorqual - A specific variety of animal Kami native to Gaia's oceans, the rorqual are whales or dolphins imbued with Gaian spirits that enable them to act as Gnosis batteries for the Rokea weresharks, who often have no access to Grottoes (caerns) due to frequenting the middle layers of the ocean. The Rokea are fiercely protective of the rorqual, who possess only spiritual power and are defenseless against the minions of Qyrl (the undersea reflection of the Wyrm), as well as from human whalers. Their Wyrmish counterparts are called Fomori, while the Weaver ones are called Drones and those of the Wyld are Gorgons.
- The kami are a race of primordial entities who are responsible for the creation of the Bleach universe. Specifically they have created of the Human World, the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, Heaven and even Hell. Each resides in their own dimension either within or parallel to the Reiōkyū.

- Kami is a monster from Takalani Sesame, the South African co-production of Sesame Street. She made international news in September 2002 when she was introduced as the world's first HIV-positive Muppet. Kami has made appearances at UNICEF events (where she was named "Champion for Children" in 2003), at the Peabody Awards in 2005, several Sesame Workshop benefits, and the United Nations for World AIDS Day. For most of her U.S. appearances, Kami is performed by Fran Brill. However, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph played her at the 2006 Annual Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala and Stephanie D'Abruzzo played her at the same gala in 2011 and 2015. Kami also appears in Sesame Square, the Nigerian co-production of Sesame Street, as well as a series called The Adventures of Kami and Big Bird where she appears in animated form.
- Kami(神) ) are the spirits or phenomena that are worshipped in the religion of Shinto. They are elements in nature, animals, creationary forces in the universe, as well as spirits of the revered deceased. Many Kami are considered the ancient ancestors of entire clans, and some ancestors became Kami upon their death if they were able to embody the values and virtues of Kami in life. Traditionally, great or charismatic leaders like the Emperor could be kami. In Shinto, Kami are not separate from nature, but are of nature, possessing positive and negative, good and evil characteristics. They are manifestations of musubi (結び), the interconnecting energy of the universe, and are considered exemplary of what humanity should strive towards. Kami are believed to be “hidden” from this world, and inhabit a complementary existence that mirrors our own, shinkai [the world of the Kami] (神界). To be in harmony with the awe inspiring aspects of nature is to be conscious of kannagara no michi [the way of the Kami] (随神の道 or 惟神の道). Though the word Kami is translated in multiple ways into English, no one English word expresses its full meaning. In this way, the ambiguity of the meaning of Kami is necessary, as it conveys the ambiguous nature of Kami themselves.

He watched over the Earth from from his lookout during King Piccolo and his mutated sons initial rampage but eventually in a serious of long, complicated circumstances they were defeated by the forces of Mutaito. Some 300 years later, at the conclusion of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament Emperor Pilaf frees King Piccolo and soon after a human named Krillin is murdered by Piccolo's newest son, Tambourine. It's later revealed King Piccolo seeks Dragon Balls to restore his youth before taking over the world again. King Piccolo eventually summons Shenron and has his wish granted, but soon after Piccolo kills Shenron to prevent anyone else from using the dragon against him. The next day King Piccolo confronted and killed by a young Goku, who had in turn been almost killed himself by Piccolo the day prior. With all his sons dead and himself mortally wounded, King Piccolo spits out one last egg containing his son and reincarnation Piccolo Jr. intended to exact revenge on Goku and also sparing Kami's life in the process, he then explodes. Shortly after Goku arrives at Kami's mysterious lookout and meets his loyal servant Mr. Popo. Kami agrees to meet with Goku without the long rigerous training required to beat Mr. Popo, and upon seeing Kami Goku mistakes him for King Piccolo and charges at him, but Kami merely flicks him away. Kami revives Shenron so that all the innocents killed by Piccolo and his sons can be removed from limbo and brought back to life, but then informs Goku he must train under him for three years in order to defeat Piccolo Jr. who would be seeking to challenge him at the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament. Three years later Goku arrives at the tournament, but Kami enters aswell inside the body of Hero after realizing Piccolo Jr. is even stronger than his father now. Towards the end of the tournament Kami attempts to trap Piccolo Jr. with the Evil Containment Wave but Piccolo Jr. reverses it and Kami finds himself trapped within a small bottle. Later Goku frees Kami and eventually defeats Piccolo Jr. but shows him mercy because Kami would die aswell were he to kill him. Still full of guilt Kami offeres Goku his position, but Goku declines to keep his promise to marry Chi Chi and flies off on the nimbus cloud with her. Five years later Kami continues to watch over the Earth, and it appears Goku and Piccolo clashing once again is inevitable, but one day a mysterious alien named Raditz lands on earth in search of his brother Goku. Raditz' power and aspirations are even worse than Piccolo's in that Raditz is far stronger and could also destroy the Earth, rather than make it his kingdom like Piccolo aspired to. Eventually with Piccolo's help and an intervention from his son Gohan, Goku defeats Raditz, but dies himself as a result. After learning two more Saiyans are on their way to Earth Kami is able to get Goku training with King Kai himself, a powerful being that is located at the end of Snake Way. During the initial struggle with Vegeta and Nappa Piccolo is killed when he sacrifices himself to save Gohan, and Kami dies soon after, Goku eventually arrives and narrowly saves the Earth from Vegeta, but in the end lets him live. He remains dead until the Frieza Saga. Kami's role diminished greatly after the heroes return to Earth from Namek from what it had been prior to their journey, and by the Androids Saga he was no longer needed for training or wisdom. Because of this, and out of concern for a then unknown threat, he agrees to fuse with the reincarnated and redeemed Piccolo in the Imperfect Cell Saga to return to being the original nameless Namekian. The new Piccolo would go on to fight Cell but never manages to kill him through various complicated events. Because he is a Namekian, he also has the ability to create Dragon Balls, but this is not a skill that most Guardians would have. After Kami fuses with Piccolo, the post of Kami on Earth is left vacant for a time until Goku goes to New Namek and recruits Dende to serve as the planet's new Kami. Despite being essentially a god, the person who acts as Kami is not necessarily supremely powerful. Kami was the strongest fighter in the series during and after King Piccolo's final rampage that was ended by Goku, but by the start of Garlic Jr. Saga, virtually all of the main Z Fighters and their enemies are more powerful than Kami and his role becomes more of a support one, and Piccolo even remarks once, "the only reason you even exist now is for the Dragon Balls".

- Strange and eerie entities capable of taking on various appearances, the Kamis constitute a major influence on Atys and its habitants. They stand vigil over the plant kingdom and ensure that no one may destabilize the fragile equilibrium of the planet they cherish. They share a collective conscience and it would seem that no living species may escape their perception, and consequently, their wrath if their laws of conservation are transgressed. Like the Karavan, the Kamis travel freely through the lands of Atys keeping endless watch and endeavoring to make pacts with laudable homins in exchange for deeds done.
