The station was built within a large fissure that ran down the length of the moon and deep within the moon itself, in an endless number of tunnels and large, almost maze-like rooms connected together. The reason for such design was in hopes of confusing any infiltrator, where the soldiers stationed on Luna-Minor 6 could easily knock them off. The moon base was often called the "Maggot Moon" by its recruits, an analogy to their common recruit name of "Moon Maggots." This was frowned upon by the Moon's higher ups, but that did not matter. It was customary to call the station by its nickname when not in the presence of a superior.
