It took place on 6th March 2009 at the Sky Dome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and featured talent from both Thunder and Xplosion as well as Punk Wrestling Extreme. Hall of Champions featured the biggest card of the year with every title on the line, a feat that would become the mainstay of the Hall of Champions event. The two main event matches would be World Heavyweight Championship The Outsider defending against 2009 Hero of WAR Xavier and the EWE Championship Tournament final between Tommy Cage and Super Nova. Other big matches on the card included Steven Hooke against Robert Cortage, Batsu (who was returning for one match) verses Hiroshima and Shawn Stasiak taking on Ace Crusher.
