Hall of Champions featured the biggest card of the year with four World title matches; Jason Uyeda defended the PWE Championship in a Hardcore match against Eric Sparrow, Ralph D'Amato defended the PWE World Heavyweight Championship also in a Hardcore match against Iggy van Zandt, Pride defended the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match against The Outsider and Brock Lesnar, and Shawn Jackson defended the EWE Championship against 2008 Hero of War Hwoarang, Chris Harris, Triple X and Shawn Stasiak.
