  • MBP-305 Aurora
rdfs:comment
  • The Aurora is the second MBP-305 warships produced by the Tau'ri, originally constructed by China under the name Mao Zedong. When the vessel arrived at the Beta Site seeking assistance, it ultimately ended up in the service of the Free People of Earth, and Via Sanders was appointed captain. Both to remove the name of a dictator from the ship registry and to honor Sanders's own fallen ship, the 305 was rechristened Aurora, and was instrumental in retaking Earth from the Der'kal. With human control of the planet regained, the Aurora has returned to its original role as one of the ISGC's frontline cruisers in the Milky Way.
