Quando ha già salvato il re, il quale gli ha confessato di essere dalla loro parte nonostante all'inizio fosse un po' diffidente, uno scudo radiante si attiva al suo tentativo di uscire fuori dalla prigione. Una squadra di droidi arriva subito sul posto e i due vengono facilmente catturati. Informata dell'accaduto, Steela decide che nell'attacco già progettato per il giorno successivo non salveranno soltanto Dendup, ma anche Saw; infatti anche lui subirà l'esecuzione capitale nella piazza centrale. I ribelli si mischiano tra la folla che assiste allo "spettacolo" e un attimo prima che si chiuda la ghigliottina eliminano le truppe separatiste e colpiscono Rash; Dendup viene rapito ma proprio allora un folto gruppo di super droidi giunge nella piazza e costringe i ribelli alla resa. Il capo della guardia reale, segretamente fedele a Steela e i suoi, interviene personalmente per salvare i ribelli, e in questo modo i combattenti per la libertà riescono a fuggire da Iziz, pronti per la resa dei conti finale.
