Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c attempted to destroy the Al'kesh in a Death Glider but the crew of the Al'kesh was able to repair the ship and headed for Vorash to pick up Tanith. Teal'c chased the Al'kesh and was able to destroy it but their Glider was damaged. (SG1: "Exodus")

The Al'kesh was able to inflict heavy damage to the Ha'tak before being damaged itself. Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c attempted to destroy the Al'kesh in a Death Glider but the crew of the Al'kesh was able to repair the ship and headed for Vorash to pick up Tanith. Teal'c chased the Al'kesh and was able to destroy it but their Glider was damaged. (SG1: "Exodus") Several months later, Tanith used another Al'kesh to scout the planet Memphis. When SG-1 arrived he took the Al'kesh to the Stargate to attempt to stop them from escaping. Before entering the Stargate, Teal'c used a Staff cannon to destroy the bridge and kill Tanith. The Al'kesh fell to the ground and exploded, causing the Stargate back on Earth to cut out prematurely, resulting in Teal'c being left trapped in the Stargate. (SG1: "48 Hours")
