Wilhelm was a very influential and powerful member of the party, being credited for successfully pushing his ally, Sebastian Röthenbach, and other fellow members, to high ranking positions within the FAP; he remained an active member of the party up until his death and was one of the primary supporters of Wolfgang von Gröninburg becoming the leader of the party months before he died. His older brother, Alexander, renounced his nobility before the death of Joseph Roderick II, their father so when Joseph Roderick II did pass away his titles went to Wilhelm. Wilhelm is a lineal descendant of Edward Roderick III, the 35th Governor-General of Greater Hulstria.
