On April 2, 3711, on his 26th anniversary, he married his wife's twin sister, Elisabeth Murphy. The marriage happended during a debate about polygamous marriages. It is said that Anders was in a relationship with his sister-in-law for a couple of years by that time, but he chose te get married as a reaction to the MPs willing to prohibit polygamy. Elisabeth gave birth to Anders' son in 3709. After the disappointing election result of November 3711, Anders replaced Theodore W. Murphy as chairman. On October 2, 3719 he stepped down after disappointing election results as well, being replaced by Paul Murphy-Spaak.
