One is the nameless commander of Tango Company, which was one of the Marine Corps' companies the Spartan-IIs were pitted against during their training as youths. The second is Ponder, after being demoted from Lieutenant Colonel.Aaron G. Gibson is also a Captain, who had something to do with the creation of the Spartan-III Program. Jacob Keyes is also a captain, being promoted from commander after executing a maneuver dubbed the "Keyes Loop."
