  • Blood Crabs seem to appear out of nothing when they quickly ascend from the depth of the sea. Sometimes they wait motionlessly for a victim to approach, a strategy which works quite well because their shells can easily be mistaken for stones. It is rumoured that from time to time the quara tame Blood Crabs and use them as watchdogs, but since none of them was ever seen in a raid, this rumour is not confirmed yet.
  • It is not known why the Blood Crab is so aggressive and hostile, but since it is confirmed that those crabs are carnivorous it is not that surprising. Heavily armored and incredibly strong, their only weakness seems to be their relative slowness. Still they are fast enough to catch up with a careless victim and everybody is well advised to avoid any closer encounter with those beasts. A lucky person sees them roaming the shores and can prepare for their attacks. The more unfortunate ones do not see them before it is too late. What is more, try to avoid meeting Blood Crabs underwater as they are much stronger when they can cavort in their favourite element.

  • Desconhece-se o porque o Blood Crab é tão hostil e agressivo, mas a confirmação que esses carangueijos são carnívoros não é de se surpreender. Pesadamente protegidos e incrivelmente fortes, sua única fraqueza parece ser sua relativa lerdeza. Mesmo assim eles são rápidos o suficiente para alcançar uma vítima desavisada e todos estão bem avisados para evitar um encontro mais de perto com tais bestas. Uma pessoa com sorte vê eles rondando as praias e pode se preparar para seus ataques. Os mais desafortunados não enxergam eles antes que seja tarde demais. Blood Crabs parecem surgirem do nada quando eles saem das profundezas do mar. Algumas vezes eles esperam vagarozamente por sua vítma se aproximar, uma estratégia que funciona bem pois suas conchas podem ser facilmente confundidas com pedras. Há rumores que de vez em quando as quaras treinam Blood Crabs e usam-los como cães de guarda, mas já que nenhum deles foram visto em uma invasão, isso é um rumor que ainda não fora confirmado.
