(Star Trek: The Quarterdeck Breed: "The Sacrifice of Agamemnon") It was assigned to patrol the Romulan Neutral Zone in 2364, and reported an unusual build-up of Romulan warships in the area. (TNG: "Angel One") In early 2367, the Berlin would again be on patrol of the Romulan Neutral Zone, along with the USS Monitor. (TNG: "Brothers", et al.) Rear Admiral Kiri Vaughn was executive officer and then commanding officer of Berlin sometime prior to 2376. (Dockyard Review: "The Entente Class Dreadnought: Take Two on the Dreadnought.")
