  • Greg Smyth (born April 23, 1966) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Quebec Nordiques, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Chicago Blackhawks. He was known as an enforcer during his playing career. He was chosen 1st (22nd overall) by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft from the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights. Smyth played two more seasons for the Knights, making the second all-star team in his last junior season, 1985-86.
