  • Warlocks, in the old language of Danu Talis also called waerloga what literally means oath breaker, are those who have broken their word, for good or for bad, or immortals who disobeyed their Elder masters, often Magicians, Sorcerers, Alchemysts, or some other form of Magic user.
  • Warlocks are mysterious beings in the series as their is nearly nothing known about warlocks. It is unknown if they either are magical creatures that merely resemble humans like Wizards, are humans given a magical gift like becoming a Shadow Charmer, or if they are humans with special knowledge like Witches.
  • Warlocks, also known as Lilith's Children, are an immortal race of Downworlder offsprings of demons and mundanes.
  • Warlocks are dog-like creatues that appear in Cloud Temples, that only appeared in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!. They are the main enemies of the friendly wizards that inhabit the temples. The warlocks have stolen the wizards' staffs and have used them to block your progress until you defeat them and take the wands back. They like to put their faces on the doors that they conjure to block your path. They are large enemies that must be flamed to be defeated. They have a rather notable loud laugh.

Similar to the Alchemists' Guild of the Seven Kingdoms, the warlocks' power and prestige have waned over the years, and some of the Qartheen elite regard them with a contempt. abstract
  • The warlocks are a mysterious order of sorcerers who reside in the House of the Undying in Qarth. Once their magic was powerful, but when dragons and all the other magical creatures of the world (unicorns, kraken, etc.) disappeared, their power beganto diminish. When the last dragon died, they lost most of their magic. However, their power is returning since Daenerys Targaryen's dragons hatched. The ancient warlocks in the House of the Undying live on in a semblance of life, preserved by their combined power. They try to hold Daenerys and her dragons there, but she escapes them, setting fire to the place and killing the ancients. The warlocks have vowed to kill her for this, and even went to Pentos looking for her.

Contrary to popular belief, not all warlocks receive their powers from demons, nor do they worship the Devil. Instead, many of them inherit their magic from practice and study and may use their powers however they choose. However, some witches and warlocks actually practice the Black Arts and worship diabolic forces, such as Diabolos, or they are in cahoots with them. Evan Hanley, an amateur of the black arts, was also a hardened Satanist. Noteworthy is also the infamous Judah Zachary, teacher of Angelique Bouchard Collins. Although witches were represented as more sentimental, and warlocks as more greedy for power, there is no substantial difference between witches and warlocks except gender.
