abstract	The Attack on the RMS Daedilus was a minor engagement fought between the Galactic Empire's famed Black Stars squadron and the New Republic's RMS. The attack was devised as part of a campaign to undermine the RMS and New Republic merchant operations by General Vorn Paro of the Imperial Security Bureau. Previous operations by Paro had instilled the Black Stars as a feared force by pirates and merchants, and Paro would use this growing reputation to strike at RMS. The HIMS Admiral Canis assaulted the RMS Daedilus head-on, deploying the five TIE Interceptors of the Black Stars. The five starfighters and the Admiral Canis were able to fight the Daedilus and halt it from escaping to hyperspace; the Canis then deployed her Stormtroopers led by Camrath Kizuka into the Daedilus, where they quickly seized control of the frigate. After tense negotiations with Daana Roon, Danik Kreldin, head of the operation, allowed the Daedilus to depart, but not before attaching a tracking becon to the hull of the vessel to be used in further operations.
