  • Solis (ソリス Sorisu?) is a Martian Kataphrakt that appears in the ALDNOAH.ZERO television series. It is piloted by Count Selkinas, an Orbital Knight. It is also commonly referred to as "Scorching Solis".
  • Solis was a Tac-Spec FIII Footman Droid and counterpart to Fidelis. He was functional, but unlike his painted counterpart, he had bare, scratched metal showing, and was not programmed with extreme loyalty. Besides his original factory parts he apparently had upgrades made to himself such as the Rika/Moab mini rail cannon and possibly many others
(DS9: )
  • Solis was hypnotised by and instructed to kill the Fourth Doctor by disconnecting him from the Matrix whilst the latter was still connected to it. He presented himself to Castellan Spandrell and Coordinator Engin, saying that the Chancellor wanted the Doctor brought to him. Carrying out his orders, he attempted to reach for the disconnection control, something he tried several times before being shot down by Spandrell. He may have been killed. (TV: The Deadly Assassin)
  • Solis is founded on the principles of devotion, integrity, and candor. Solis' purpose is to provide a community where everyone can grow and prosper. In doing so the alliance intends to foster a government committed to a duty of excellence, a membership full of ambition and competence, and a spirit of charity toward all. The alliance is based loosely of the idealistic utopia created by renowned philosopher Tomamaso Campanella in his most famous work, Civitas Solis. The Solis charter can be found here.
  • Solis was a Bajoran Vedek who was collecting donations for Bajoran flood victims on Deep Space 9 in 2374. Constable Odo later arrested him, since paragraph seven of station regulation 1526 prohibited fundraising on the Promenade without a license. Solis was released in less than an hour, but Major Kira Nerys remained angry at Odo for somewhat longer. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
  • Solis is often referred to as a closed book. His past is a mystery to all. Recently, he has been brutishly searching for a being going by the name of Kirigk. How or what this has to do with his past has yet to be revealed. Solis is a dangerous fighter, using all different Fight Methods effectively. He has proven to be most well-educated in Western, the method of strength, yet favors Eastern the most. He has succeeded in hadling an expert of Southern and Middle-way also, so he did with an Eastern expert.

Constable Odo later arrested him, since paragraph seven of station regulation 1526 prohibited fundraising on the Promenade without a license. Solis was released in less than an hour, but Major Kira Nerys remained angry at Odo for somewhat longer. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. Solis has appeared in several of the DS9 novels set after "What You Leave Behind" . In the novels, he leads a new group of the Bajoran religion and he becomes one of the leading candidates to become the next kai of Bajor. The novel Cathedral gives his full name as Solis Tendren.
Solis is a disrespecting, suspective, beastly being, who is by far not social at all. He is by this shunned by Hostels, forcing him to sleep outside. He seems to have no problem with it at all.
