- The Purple Knight is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. A purple-haired Knight of Hyrule, he guards the Purple Jewel. At one point, the Purple Knight was sucked into the Dark World and morphed into a Base Creature of Magic. Link encounters the Base Creature of Magic in Frozen Hyrule immediately after the defeat of Manhandla. After Link destroys the Knight Mark, thereby lifting the curse, the Purple Knight returns to normal. He tells Link that the curse has been lifted on all of the Knights of Hyrule and that it is up to Link to save Princess Zelda and all of Hyrule.
