  • The Chaos Dragon is a three-headed dragon where two of it's heads are of a lion and an eagle. The dragon statue in the Swordhaven was brought to life and awakened by Chaos King Alteon's chaos powers after Brittany was killed by Chaos King Alteon's attack. The Chaos Dragon ends up causing destruction in Swordhaven. The players head to the roof to combat the Chaos Dragon. The players slay the Chaos Dragon causing the roof to collapse.
  • Chaos Dragons rarely attack, save for their second and sixth turns. On their second turn, they have a 33% percent chance of using Disaster, inflicting many status ailments on the party. On the sixth turn, there is a 33% chance of them using their special attack Incinerate, instantly killing a party member. They have fairly high HP for normal enemies, but extremely low physical defenses, and their inactivity gives the party several turns to bring it down. Ice-elemental attacks work well against them.
  • Chaos dragons are the highest-level of all dragons, and thus has slightly higher stats compared to the other type of dragons. They can use the Chaos Breath. If PC needs dragons as pets for some reason, the chaos dragons are contenders, although the nether dragon's breath may make it more useful.
  • Chaos Dragons are enemies in Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing.
  • A Chaos Dragon deck utilizes the Graveyard with a combination of Chaos monsters for their powerful effects with Effect Monsters with Send 1 Card to Graveyard or Milling effects to fuel them. The earliest builds focused on getting out "Chaos Sorcerer", and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning": much later the "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", "Lightpulsar Dragon" Monsters that give this Deck its name. You can use "Lightsworn" monsters "Raiden" and "Lyla" with "Solar Recharge", "Charge of the Light Brigade" and "Reasoning" as a mill engine. "Card Trooper" was originally used to mill 1 to 3, but has lost favor to the utility of "Kuribandit" and "Mathematician", which offer better control on what to send to the Graveyard.
  • Once the proud and noble rulers of the skies, now split, twisted and corrupted by the forces of change, the terrible two-headed Chaos Dragons are nightmarish and malevolent predators. Borne aloft on wings no longer made for mere flesh and bone, but of black sorcery and the will of Dark Gods made manifest, a Chaos Dragon is a terrifying nemesis to all order and sanity. They are wicked and fickle creatures, possessing every bit as much malevolent delight in destruction and treachery as their creator, the great and devious god Tzeentch. Even a single Chaos Dragon can put an entire army to flight, incinerating its enemies with bursts of dragonflame, chocking them with clouds of noxious black vapor, or shredding them with its massive teeth and claws.[2a]

Even a single Chaos Dragon can put an entire army to flight, incinerating its enemies with bursts of dragonflame, chocking them with clouds of noxious black vapor, or shredding them with its massive teeth and claws.[2a] It is said that Chaos Dragons see themselves as wholly distinct from Tzeentch's mortal followers. Indeed, they hold Dragonkind to be the Dark God's true servants in the mortal world, for men have ever been quick to change their allegiance over the centuries. No two Chaos Dragons are exactly the same, for the gifts of Chaos affected each in subtly different ways. Some have their organs and bones on display, blood vessels pulsing and pounding through a sheath of invisible flesh. Others are covered in spikes, horns and knobby protrusions, or have skin crawling with the stuff of corruption itself. Truly each Chaos Dragon is a piece of obscene living sculpture, and a facet of Tzeentch's unknowable splendor.[2a] Although it is a rare (and often calamitous) event to see a Chaos Dragon far from the Northern Wastes, the beasts are drawn to storms of magic and have a preternatural ability to turn up when such tempests strike. Many wizards who bind a Chaos Dragon often feel as if the beast is not truly spellbound, but rather obeying to suit their own whims.[2a]
  • Chaos Dragons rarely attack, save for their second and sixth turns.
"Lightpulsar Dragon" is the main beater being able to revive itself easily, while "Darkflare Dragon" speeds up "Lightpulsar" and setups summoning both "Dark Armed Dragon" and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning". Once a reasonable amount of cards have been milled it is recommended to stop focusing on milling or risk running out of cards to draw too fast and lose automatically. "Galaxy Cyclone", "Breakthrough Skill", and "Skill Prisoner" are some of the few Spell/Trap cards that can be played from the hand, or milled, and then used next turn again by banishing them. This Deck relies heavily on Special Summoning powerful monsters with devastating effects in order to overpower and OTK the opponent. It can also create Level 8 Synchro Monsters consistently due to the synergy of "White Dragon Wyverburster", "Black Dragon Collapserpent" (which replace themselves with the other when sent from the field to the Graveyard, but not when detached as Xyz Materials), and "Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn". "Lightpulsar Dragon", "Caius the Shadow Monarch", and "Chaos Sorcerer" also open up Rank 6 plays after their effects are used. With "Constellar Ptolemy M7" being able to return monsters from the Graveyard to the hand, milling "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning", or other powerful monsters is no longer at risk of being milled and unusable. Milling the Deck early to mid game sets up the Graveyard in order to banish LIGHT and DARK monsters to Special Summon the Chaos monsters. "Darkflare Dragon", "Card Trooper", "Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn", "Charge of the Light Brigade", and "Solar Recharge" are used for this strategy. Using "Tour Guide From the Underworld" to Summon "Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss" was also used, but the limiting of "Tour Guide" in April 2015 has made this option unreliable. Dragons Collide Structure Deck contains many of the cards used in this Deck, thus making it easier to build. Many of the cards required that are not found in Dragons Collide have been reprinted, thus making this deck an affordable but formidable option for duelists.
