Anjohl Tennan was a Bajoran male who lived on Bajor as a farmer during the Occupation of Bajor by the Cardassians. He was a deeply religious man, and often sought religious support to bless his crops to prosper during the growing season. Anjohl remained at his farm in Relliketh with his only brother during the Great Famine, where their entire community struggled to survive, and was captured just after the Famine by the Cardassians, who, after the Bajoran Resistance destroyed the Cardassian outpost at Relliketh, were ordered by Gul Skrain Dukat to execute 100 random Bajorans as a public example. Anjohl and the other prisoners were spared, however, when Ranjen Winn Adami bribed the pilot of Anjohl's transport, Prenar, to "accidentally" misread his orders and divert his prisoners to the labor camp at Batal where Anjohl remained a slave. Anjohl died in the camp in 2366. Dukat secretly posed as Anjohl in 2375, but Solbor exposed his identity, as he had led an investigation that revealed Anjohl's true fate. (DS9 episode: "The Changing Face of Evil").
