- Status: The Halley (NCC-1701/01) was a Federation SW7-class shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd century.
- Halley was one of several "hopefuls" who turned up at 11 Coronation Street in September 2009 to audition for the role of "Hia-Lowa", after children's entertainer Jesse Chadwick had posted an advertisement online for General Custard's sidekick. With Eileen Grimshaw and lodger Sean Tully present in the back room, the bubbly auditionee was eager to perform, told an unimpressed Eileen to move her table and whilst vocally exercising, began to whoop like a Red Indian which in turn upset John the parrot.
- Halley is Colonel Sassacre's dog. Halley's dog house is destroyed by a meteor carrying a baby Grandpa. After Grandpa accidentally shoots and kills Sassacre, Halley acts as the guardian of both Grandpa and Nanna, though Grandpa often says the name incorrectly as Harley due to an odd speech impediment. Years later Grandpa rides Halley off as he goes off on an adventure. Halley currently resides as a stuffed corpse on the top floor of Jade's house, beside the stuffed body of Dream Jade. It is not known how he died. Halley shares the name with a comet.
- According to archived pages of Tiny Planets blog, Halley's mission to film Bing and Bong on their adventures is secret, and she is not allowed to interfere or have her presence known. However, Bing and Bong do seem to know her, and she has referred to them as her friends. There was also a tweet that implied that Halley had at some point slipped up and not known that Bing and Bong could hear her messages. "Try your best with the Tiny Planets theme tune - see if you can sing louder than Hally!" [sic]

Andrew stated that Bec is not completely omniscient like some first guardians because of Halley being his genetic source, confirming that Halley himself is just a normal dog. Halley currently resides as a stuffed corpse on the top floor of Jade's house, beside the stuffed body of Dream Jade. It is not known how he died. After the scratch young Poppop and Grandma had a dog which was very likely Halley. He was eventually murdered by their adoptive grandmother. Halley shares the name with a comet.

In the narrated 4-minute single episodes of Tiny Planets, Halley appears on-screen in certain shots of each episode, and has extended screen time in the end theme. In the 22-minute blocks, she appears in her extended intro and between each 'episode' but is unseen during the episodes themselves. While Halley is generally said only to be voiced by the singer of the theme song, the description for the karaoke game on the 2005 Tiny Planets website implies that the character herself sings the theme.
