He was the son of Supreme Chancellor Relana Isolde Tanoor and Galactic Republic soldier Artemis Bac; he was raised by his father's cousin, Supreme Chancellor Alcor Bac, after his father disappeared and his mother was assassinated during the Alsakan Crisis. When he was discovered to be Force-sensitive, Alcor sent Adrian to be raised by the Jedi Order. Through Adrian's lineage, the Bac family continued on for thousands of years. Ussej Padric Bac, who became the first Shaman of the Whills in the wake of the Second Ashlan Civil War, was a direct descendant of Adrian.
