- This planet was the homeworld of Guinan, an El-Aurian. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds" ) It was located in the El-Aurian system. (TNG: "Q Who" ) The planet was destroyed by the Borg, at which time Guinan's people scattered throughout the universe, though they ultimately survived. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds" ) At one point, she was rumored to be from Nova Kron. (TNG: "The Child" ) In a line of dialogue from the fourth draft script of "I Borg" , Guinan stated, "The Borg took our whole world... left it in ruins." That line was written out of the episode by the time the final draft of the script was submitted. Also, both script drafts referred to the occupants of the planet, at the time of its destruction, as having been Guinan's "ancestors". [1]
