The building is half-house and half-smial, free-standing in front but merging with the side of a hill. At the Tribal Gathering Glen meets up with Lex again, and he wants revenge. Everyone regarded him with shock until Lex and Zandra realise it is Glen, and not an adult as was presumed originally.
  • A Glen is an area of the Penumbra saturated with the energies of the Wyld. Glens are usually tied to areas of unspoiled wilderness in the material world (making them increasingly rare and inaccessible). To Garou, a Glen is like paradise: not only are they surrounded by pure wilderness, they may study with nature spirits no longer found across the Gauntlet, and injuries heal rapidly and without scarring. Even Harano can be treated with time spent in a Glen.
  • Glen believes in that hard working is the most important virtue which is respresented throughout the game. According to Levi, Glen's strictness is nothing compared to Ashley's and he is much more "flexible" than her. He's also known for his weird way of laughing that annoyed Levi to no end. Due to his gentlemanliness and skill in battle, Glen's is admired by everyone in Urgard.
  • Glen D'Arc is a mortician in Empath Abbey in Ultima VI. The Avatar found Glen D'Arc to be a cold deliberate man who had little interest outside of his funeral home. Formerly from Trinsic, he had moved to Empath Abbey to avoid the sun. He preferred the cold light of the moon and rarely went out during the day. Glen told that Avatar that he thought those who died and were not resurrected were the lucky ones because they experienced true peace.

To Garou, a Glen is like paradise: not only are they surrounded by pure wilderness, they may study with nature spirits no longer found across the Gauntlet, and injuries heal rapidly and without scarring. Even Harano can be treated with time spent in a Glen. The danger of such a paradise is that Garou may never want to leave it. Others fear it may lead them to over-idealize the Wyld, instead of striving to balance the Triat. However, to some Garou, a Glen is a badly-needed vision of hope in a world where the Wyrm and Weaver run amok.
Glen's relationship with Levi is far from normal rivalry like everyone thought as he is much friendlier than stereotypical rival character, althought if they are more than friend or not is up to personal interpretation (although it's implied from his S-Rank rumor, however, that the person Glen likes is indeed Levi.) Despite being a Fire Magi, Glen is known for his cat's tongue and cannot drink or eat hot things.
  • The first time we see Glen, is when he, Lex, Ryan and Zandra were waiting for the Locos. They want to join the tribe, but they soon discover that Zoot is not going to let them in so they run. Lex "sacrifices" Glen so that he, Ryan and Zandra can get away, we see that Zandra got emotional about that. Glen is captured by the Locos and after a beating he is one of the Locos. At the Tribal Gathering Glen meets up with Lex again, and he wants revenge. Glen is attacked by the second wave of the virus, Jack sees him outside the Mall from one of the cameras thinking he is an adult. Patsy, naively, slips away from the Mall to bring him back there with her so he could "look after" them. Everyone regarded him with shock until Lex and Zandra realise it is Glen, and not an adult as was presumed originally. There was an argument over what to do with him at first, but in the end, Glen stayed. Zandra cared for him in her own way. She told Glen she would leave Lex for him when he recovered although she had regrets for doing that, and with some deliberation she went back to Glen to tell him that it wasn't true, but when she got to his bedside, she realised he had died. Then the Mallrats burn his body outside the Mall.

Glen told that Avatar that he thought those who died and were not resurrected were the lucky ones because they experienced true peace. Glen D'Arc's major frustration was with his assistant Mole the gravedigger. He felt that Mole was incompetent and useless because he refused to dig several graves as was expected. With the help of the Avatar, Glen learned that Mole had not dug the graves because the shovel he had supplied Mole was useless. Mole was unable to afford a new shovel because Glen had failed to properly pay Mole's equipment expenses. When the Avatar supplied Mole with a new shovel, Glen allowed the Avatar to liberate the magical belongings of the unclaimed bodies at the funeral home. Glen has a magically locked door in his workshop that apparently nobody other than him has ever looked behind. If the player unlocks the door, he will find that the room contains pieces of meat, hinting that Glen might be doing something rather unsavoury with the bodies he is provided.
