  • The Bed is two blocks long and a bit higher than half a block high. It is used for skipping night (13000 to 999 ticks) and setting the player's spawn point. This can be used to make sure the minimum amount of hostile mobs spawn, or it can just be to speed up the boredom of waiting for the sun to rise. Note that time will not pass regularly when the player is sleeping in a Bed.
  • The bed is an item that frequently occurs in houses and cabins. Beds can be rested in like the bedroll . A bed also provides more of a warmth bonus than the bedroll. Certain beds will provide a greater warmth bonus, or heal your condition at a faster rate than others. For instance, double beds are warmer than bunk beds.

  • A bed was a comfy place upon which to sleep, or engage in relations. Wookiees required extra-large and very sturdy beds, both for their size and aggressive mating habits. At least one Sith Lord was thought to have destroyed a planet while in bed; whether that occurred during sleep or sex is still a mystery. If a being was lucky enough, they would die while asleep in bed. Unfortunately, most weren't.
  • The Bed is a type of featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
  • The blanket feels warm and comforting, my head sinks gratefully into the willing pillow. Ensconced in my own warm little world I feel safe.
  • Bed is the romantic pairing of Butters Stotch and Red. See also:
  • In a quarry, a bedding is a term used for a structure occurring in granite and similar massive rocks that allows them to split in well-defined planes horizontally or parallel to the land surface.
  • Beds can be made with wood, and are used for sleeping. To sleep in a bed, double-click it. Sleeping in a bed will make your sleep rise faster than when resting on the ground.
  • Just what it sounds like.. a bed. Typing "/sleep" in chat while standing on the bed will cause the user to sleep. Sleeping it creates a (ZzZzZz) text.
  • The Bed is a component which is installed as part of the SketchUp package. Click on Window, and then Components; you can see the bed on the list of components.
  • Beds are Blocks added in Update 0.4.0 that are used to Sleep during the night cycle.

  • A Bed is an item of furniture found in Fable II. Double beds can be found in many houses and Inns around Albion. By sleeping in a bed, your wounds are instantly healed. Also, sleeping in houses that you own can grant you a wide variety of bounses. Beds can also be used to initiate sex with your partner or a prostitute. You may purchase better beds at furniture stores in Bowerstone and Bloodstone to improve the bonuses you get from sleeping in them. The bed at the top of Brightwood Tower is also used to teleport you to Nightmare Hollow.
  • Since one basic function of a home is a place to lay your head at night (in other words to sleep), a bed is a basic piece of furniture. Beds usually have mattresses, frames and bedding. The mattresses are of a variety of sizes and stuffed with a wide range of materials. The frames are also made from many different materials and have many different sizes -- from a crib to a California king. The bedding covers an even wider range of alternatives. Bedding includes sheets, blankets, quilts, coverlets, comforters, dust ruffles, pillows and duvets.

  • The bed by LummoxJR is an excellent way for Norns (especially vehicle-happy Norns) to get some sleep. It gives a Norn a good opportunity to get a long sleep, instead of just a quick nap here or there. While the Norn is asleep, it is kept in comfort. The bed can even be moved by the hand by left-clicking. The bed is injected near the clock in the kitchen. When the bed is first activated by a Norn, it has these effects: * Pain: -20 * NFP: -50 * Tiredness: 255 (direct increase) * Sleepiness:255 (direct increase) The effects during sleep are: It uses the C1 class numbers: * 3 1 194
  • Beds are furniture items. The better quality of your bed, the more potential you'll gain after sleeping. Every town has an inn with beds (of subpar quality). Eastern beds are a great choice for early game, since they're lightweight and are fairly common to find, even at general goods store. Happy beds are a rare drop from cupids and fairies and seem to give the best stat potential when slept upon, and you can also get one from wishing. Alternatively, king's bed can be pickpocketed in Palmia. The sleep sheep is exclusive in Elona+.
  • The Bed is an item craftable at a Sawmill. To craft one, you need 5 Silk (7 Cobwebs for 1, 35 for all 5) and 15 Wood. The Bed allows you to set your spawn point wherever the bed is placed. Your spawn point will be reset if the bed is destroyed. For a Bed to function properly and allow you to set your spawn point, certain criteria must be met similar to room requirements for spawning NPCs:
  • Beds come in a range of prices from cheap to expensive. In general, more expensive beds do a better job of restoring energy and comfort. Also in The Sims 3 and The Sims 4, sleeping in cheap beds will give Sims negative moodlets when they wake up. In The Sims 2, Sims can "Relax" on a bed, and will often do so autonomously. In The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4, double beds are one of the objects in which Sims can WooHoo or try for a baby.
  • Beds have been around since the first lifeform laid back, put its feet (or flippers, or pseudopodia) up, and relaxed into something similar to sleep. What was directly under them when this happened automatically became a bed. Soil, leaves, or sand mostly. These first beds were hard, because they were laid on the ground or were the ground. Insects, mice, and snakes would wait patiently as you moved the twigs and leaves around, and
  • To craft this bed you will need to unlock its crafting-recipe first by crafting a Wood Wall. The crafting-recipe for the Wood Wall can be unlocked by taking a block of Cragwood from a Cragwood-tree (not from Logs) for the first time. No, crafting Shredded Leaves will NOT unlock this crafting-recipe (anymore). To craft 1 Bed you'll need (as of R29 in March 2016): Like all beds, you can use this basic bed (right-click on it or type "f" as the default key to activate the bed) to quickly skip the rest of the day if it is daytime ingame - or to skip the night if darkness has already fallen.

  • Beds, cots, straw mats and hammocks are most likely to be found in houses or guildhalls, although they can also be found in the wilderness. When you have a premium account, you can sleep in beds, cots, straw mats and hammocks that are located inside a house or guildhall, by simply "using" the bed. Doing that, your character will be logged off. If you have eaten something before going asleep, your character will regain hp/mp while offline. Also, your character will regain Soul Points no matter if you have eaten or not. Note: not all houses have beds on them. Before renting one, make sure you check if that house has any beds. If you are a free account player, you can still have access to house/guildhall beds by being invited in the respective house, but you cannot sleep on them. Also beds you see in the "field" can not be used to sleep on. Since Winter Update 2007 you can change the colour of your bed in blue, red, green and yellow, if you buy a modification kit for your bed in a furniture shop. • Since one basic function of a home is a place to lay your head at night (in other words to sleep), a bed is a basic piece of furniture. Beds usually have mattresses, frames and bedding. Preferences in bed type, size and bedding have individual and cultural components. The choice of a bed may also have practical considerations. For instance, it can be less expensive to have multiple beds of the same size, since they can all use the same bedding. Or you may want beds that have built in storage or other space saving features.

Your spawn point will be reset if the bed is destroyed. For a Bed to function properly and allow you to set your spawn point, certain criteria must be met similar to room requirements for spawning NPCs: * The Bed must have enough space. A 7-block wide and 5-block high (interior) room is minimum, as such a 9-by-7 box overall is required. For ease of placement, this is the full lateral reach of a player, with the maximum vertical reach. * The room's exterior walls must be crafted from material other than Dirt, such as Wood, Stone Blocks, Bricks, or Glass (even Wood Platforms will work, although this offers no protection from monsters). * The Background Wall must also be placed. Any wall will work as long as it had been placed there by the player rather than occurring there naturally. * If the requirements are met, right clicking the bed should set your spawn and show the message "Spawn point set!" To craft 1 Bed you'll need (as of R29 in March 2016): * 1 Twine, made of Vines in a Processor * 1 (block of) Shredded Leaves, made of any kind of Leaves taken from Trees in a Processor * 4 Wood Rods, made of any kind of Wood or Log in a Processor * 2 Stone Rods, made of Stone, Limestone or Bedrock in a Processor Like all beds, you can use this basic bed (right-click on it or type "f" as the default key to activate the bed) to quickly skip the rest of the day if it is daytime ingame - or to skip the night if darkness has already fallen. Currently (R29 in March 2016) the ordinary bed looks exactly like the Yellow Bed (can be made from a rare Recipe). Additionally, despite the game advising you to not jump on the bed, you can give it a try if you like (no downsides to this noticed so far). Patch-notes for R19: * Interact with a bed to sleep and advance time to dawn or dusk. * All players in a world must sleep at the same time to advance time. * NOTE: beds placed in an old world must be pulled up and replaced before you will be able to interact with them. Currently (as of R29 in March 2016) Beds - of all kinds, also Red Beds, Yellow Beds and Blue Beds - are fireproof. You can even place them into liquid Lava and they won't burn away, instead you can even still use the Beds in there to sleep ... if you so dare.
Insects, mice, and snakes would wait patiently as you moved the twigs and leaves around, and File:Black scorpion2.jpgthen share the bed with the sleeper. So many things were crawling over everyone that somewhere along the line this situation became intolerable, and someone finally thought up the idea of sleeping just slightly above the ground on a piece of furniture. Thus came about. . .
It is advised to change the material type of any bed to a lighter material for easier carrying or more expensive material (e.g. diamondwork) for higher furniture and heirloom value to improve the home rank. Note that eastern beds don't seem to count as furniture, but are far better for portable sleeping arrangements than a sleeping bag. Also note that pets won't carry any beds save for eastern beds, sleeping bags and sleep sheep, since they won't carry any items which can increase the rank of your home. Here's the complete list of beds. The gold value listed is how much it would cost if you had no negotiation skills. The sleep sheep is exclusive in Elona+. The happy bed and double bed share the same sprite (#650 of item.bmp spritesheet) while the luxury bed uses a different located sprite (#262) with the same graphic.
  • The blanket feels warm and comforting, my head sinks gratefully into the willing pillow. Ensconced in my own warm little world I feel safe.
To sleep in a bed, the player must walk up to it and press the A button. An option will be given to sleep for set amounts of time: 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours or 7 days. A quick rest is all that is needed for the player to heal their wounds and/or to receive the bonus. The bonus a player gets from sleeping in a particular bed stays with them until they sleep in a new bed with different bonuses. Sleeping long periods of time can cause the Hero to gain weight, making them less attractive to others.
When the bed is first activated by a Norn, it has these effects: * Pain: -20 * NFP: -50 * Tiredness: 255 (direct increase) * Sleepiness:255 (direct increase) The effects during sleep are: * Pain: -20 * Hotness: -75 * Coldness: -75 The Norn will get off the bed automatically shortly after it wakes up. It uses the C1 class numbers: * 3 1 194 and is available at Norntropolis and CObfinder General, among others.
In The Sims Life Stories, there is a §9,000 bed that is only unlocked in story rewards for Riley. This bed is called the "Fertillinator", and will increase the chance of success when trying for a baby. The Sims 3: Late Night added a new type of bed, the Vampiric Sanctum. This bed is in the shape of a coffin and can only be used by vampires. At one end of the bed there is a bottle of sunscreen lotion and a cracked mirror. There is also a picture of the The Magical Freezer Bunny on the front end and a moon on the bottom end. Vampires will receive the "Slept Like the Dead" moodlet from using this bed. The Sims 3: Generations includes bunk beds, which can be used by kids and up. A few custom content creators for The Sims and The Sims 2 made working bunk beds for those games, but Generations is the first expansion pack to include them. Sometimes, Sims who wake up in the top bunk can be very daring and jump off. In The Sims 3: Supernatural, children can check for monsters under a bed during nighttime. There's a 60% chance that they will see glowing red eyes or a monster's arms sticking out, which will give them "Monsters Under the Bed" moodlet, and possibly "Terrified" moodlet, which is more likely to be gained if Sims have the Coward, Neurotic, Easily Impressed, or Supernatural Skeptic traits. While having the "Monsters Under the Bed" moodlet, children will not sleep on the bed the monster is from. Children will not get the moodlet if they have the "Someone to Watch Over Me" moodlet, which is gained by being promised protection by older Sims who are on the same lot. On the other hand, if the children don't find any monsters under the bed, they will get "No Monsters" moodlet, which will boost their energy need while sleeping. Monsters return to The Sims 4 with Patch 36 in which they will spontaneously wake children up, giving them an Uncomfortable moodlet that prevents them from sleeping for a while. They can be warded off by spraying monster repellent or installing the "Defender" lamp in the room. Sims may also attempt to befriend the monster.
