- (Credit goes to Wikipedia) What can this root plant be used for? Well, some say that this can be a material used in creating a Homunculus. Also, according to the Harry Potter books (if you've read Chamber of Secrets), the Mandrake can be used to make a potion to heal petrification from a Basilisk's stoney gaze, which might be worth killing a dog, but I'd stay away from animal cruelty and just go with some really good ear plugs when taking out a Mandrake.
- Before being harvested, Mandrake seems similar to Loner but with three tufts of hair on its head. Its post-harvested appearance may cause quite a scare for any unsuspecting harvesters. Mandrake has root-like appendages for legs and arms, beady black eyes, and a huge teethed mouth.
- The Mandrake attacks near Canaan and Vikings' Cove. Though it has an NES sprite, it did not appear until the DS version of the game. The stronger Barometz appears on the Floating Continent.
- Mandrakes are a very common beast, they are pretty weak, and give the less gold for killing them (20). In a duel with them, they will mostly use healing spells, and sometimes the sting spell. These can be found anywhere.
- Often the first sign of an imminent Mandrake attack will be the sudden onset of freezing temperatures, flash freezing all the moisture out of the very air. The shapes set into their flesh are Eldar sigils of destruction that pulse with a venomous green brilliance when the Mandrake feeds upon the terror and pain of its victims. Mandrakes possess the ability to channel these stolen life energies, shaping blasts of blue-white cold fire known as Baleblasts that emerge from their taloned hands to freeze their foes in place. When they finally fall upon their terrified prey, they use not only the natural weapons of claw and fang, but also hideous, sickle-shaped blades similar to the surgical tools beloved of the Haemonculi.

- Garth Kidd is an Irish bodybuilder, martial artist and professional wrestler better known by his ring name Mandrake. He is currently working for Irish Whip Wrestling where he became an IWW International Heavyweight Champion and an IWW Zero-Gravity Champion. He also participated in the January 2011 edition of the TNA Gut Check tryouts held in Dublin, Ireland.
- A poisonous plant that grows from the graves of guilty dead men. In legend, if pulled from the ground it makes a sound like scream of a dying child which is so horrible it either deafens or kills the person pulling it. It was generally used in all kinds of potions that promised amazing properties such as invulnerability, invisibility or immunity to the undead.

- Mandrake is the main antagonist of Blue Sky's 8th animated feature film, Epic. He is the villainous leader of the forces of evil, called Boggans. He also has a son named Dagda. He was voiced by Christoph Waltz who also played Colonel Hans Landa and the latest actor to portray the villain in 007, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

(COMIC: The Mark of Mandragora) In 800, French king and Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne lost a food taster to mandrake poisoning. (PROSE: The Lonely Computer) In the 41st century, Erimem tricked Sekhmet into drinking her blood which was poisoned with distilled mandrake root that was contained in Erimem's signet ring. (AUDIO: The Bride of Peladon)
- Mandrake, real name unknown, is a mage who is a member of the St. Louis Five. He looks somewhat like a dragon. His only appearance to date (10/15/2010) is in Miyet's origin story.

- Mandrake is a poisonous plant whose humanoid-shaped roots have many magical properties. The necropolis of Fen Carn is said to have an unusually large "population" of female mandrake plants. Notable among mandrake's many alchemical uses is its use in the potion that maintains the longevity of sorcerers, preventing further ageing (but not restoring lost youth).

- Adds a chance for poison to cloud an enemy's mind, sending them into a state of confusion.
- Mandrake is an enemy first fought in Etrian Odyssey and Etrian Odyssey II and makes its return in Etrian Odyssey IV and Etrian Odyssey: Untold. This creature is a plant with a round head, short legs and long tentacle arms. Its scream can either weaken enemies with status afflictions, or even instantly kill them.
- Mandrake was a 17 storey tower block on Park Grange View, Norfolk Park, Sheffield. It was built in the mid 1960s and contained 126 flats. It has since been demolished.
- Mandrakes are genetic mutations, one of many of Poison Ivy's Plant Hybrids created by Poison Ivy to defend the planet from humanity's callousness.
- Mandrake is a cabin person in the crew Celestia and a member of the flag Naughty Nerds. He sails the Malachite Ocean.
- The scream of a mature Mandrake will kill any person who hears it, but a young Mandrake's screams will usually only knock a person out for several hours. In Harry Potter's second year, his Herbology Class learns how to re-pot Mandrakes, in the more dangerous Greenhouse Three. Professor Sprout has them all wear earmuffs to protect them from the noise. Professor Sprout uses mandrakes in the Battle of Hogwarts.
- Mandrakes sind Drachenähnliche Kreaturen und sind Ausschliesslich im Elboraversum anzutreffen, wobei die auf Elbora angesiedelten äussere unterschiede zu ihren ausserplanetarischen verwandten aufweißen.
- All sorted first by school of magic and second by the skill level needed to cast within that school of magic.
- A Mandrake is a mystical plant whose poison can knock out consumers when ingested orally; its poison is known to be effective against Earthlings, Expellians, Fellpool, Nedians, Tetrageniots, and whatever race of people the mysterious Welch Vineyard belongs to. It is an orange, carrot-like root, though shaped in a vaguely humanoid shape and grows commonly across both Expel and Energy Nede. Its poisonous properties can be tamed and shaped by individuals through the practice of Compounding.
- A Mandrake is a root that is sacred to Hera. It may also refer to a deadly lizard-like creature that sprouts from the root. Hera once caused such a creature to be born of a Mandrake root in hopes that it would kill Hercules. With the help of Iolaus, Hercules managed to hold the creature down and chain all four of its limbs. Once it was thus restrained, it disappeared.
- Like Hyurandi, Mandrake was a Bloontonium Lab experiment, but a successful one. A Black Bloon was infused with a strange unknown material from deep within the earth. Research never went in further to discover just what this mineral was, because Electro decided that it, "costs way too much". Mandrake is now a feared foe for his persistent charges on... the same places. His pattern has become pretty predictable, so most of the time we already have defenses there. He's like... an annoying virus, but after the first time, we were already prepared.
- Mandrake (マンドレイク) is a Mental Interference Magic used by Tsukuba Yuuka. Mandrake is a type of magic that is conveyed through the "Psion Sound” instead of physical sound. It cannot be stopped by stopping physical sound, but waves created through magic can attenuate the "Psionic Waves" that propagate through a "Psionic Area". A known magic to use as partial defense against "Mandrake" is Silent Veil, which is a spell that can attenuate Psionic Sound thus weakening "Mandrake".
- Mandrake is a bard in Ultima VI. The Avatar found Mandrake throughout Britannia. He was known to sing at 'The Fallen Virgin,' 'The Sword and Keg,' 'The Blue Bottle,' and 'The Cat's Lair'. A jolly adventurous bard, he has travelled widely through Britannia, and has visited many of the dungeons. Always a lover of a good ale, he drank many Britannians under the table, although he admitted Derydlus often came out victorious in their drinking contests. Mandrake recommended that the Avatar visit Penumbra, and have his fortune told. He also highly praised 'The Cat's Lair' and its proprietor, Dr. Cat. Always an accomplished bard, Mandrake entertained The Avatar with tales of daring, bravery, and adventure.

Therefore, make sure to be careful and try to interrupt the attack if you can. Likewise, and like with all the Plant-type enemies, beware that their physical
- Mandrake is a character in the novel Final Destination: Looks Could Kill. He is a rap artist and is an acquaintance of Shiraz, whom he met multiple times in his past before. Mandrake and Shiraz are both on the set for a music video, where Shiraz is wearing extremely long hair extensions while sitting inside of the passenger seat of a car. Mandrake is sitting in the driver's seat and the hair is supposed to entangle Mandrake as though they were grabbing him. While shooting the scene, the director shouts for the FX engineer to turn the fan on higher (to make it look like her hair is blowing) but in the process, her hair is caught in the rims (which were really spinning even though the car is fake) and her scalp is slowly torn off her head. Mandrake screams and punches Shiraz away from him as
- Mandrakes are faeries, probably a rare type of sprite, that mimicks a simple plant, however, when pulled up they appear to be like a stray sod or toad with a plant sproting from them. They will wail (much like a banshee) and either cause one to go deaf when they are young, or die when the mandrake is full grown. Thus it is advisable to wear earmuffs when harvesting mandrakes. Their plant has purple flowers, and they are very deadly. Found in fields and woods, these creatures move from time to time and dig up a new home, and often (though disgusting) feed on worms and grubs.
- Mandrake is the common name for members of the plant genus Mandragora belonging to the nightshades family (Solanaceae). Because mandrake contains deliriant hallucinogenic tropane alkaloids such as hyoscyamine and the roots sometimes contain bifurcations causing them to resemble human figures, their roots have long been used in magic rituals, today also in neopagan religions such as Wicca and Germanic revivalism religions such as Odinism. (It is alleged that magicians would form this root into a crude resemblance to the human figure, by pinching a constriction a little below the top, so as to make a kind of head and neck, and twisting off the upper branches except two, which they leave as arms, and the lower, except two, which they leave as legs.)

Mandrake screams and punches Shiraz away from him as she extends a hand for help and hops out the car. While he is busy trying to recover, the director and FX engineer get into a fight and the wheels turn back on, turning Shiraz's head 180 degrees in the opposite direction and killing her, the sight of which causes Mandrake to vomit. Sherry later used her death to make it look like Mandrake punched her in her time of need, and he was most likely sued for millions of dollars by her parents and family.

Mandrake's recent adventures had been fraught with danger due to his capture by Gargoyles. He was taken to the other side of the world, but had the good fortune to be saved by the young Gargoyle Beh Lem. Mandrake was even credited for writing the Ultima VI Cluebook, which contained stories about his adventures through Britannia. Mandrake knew of Lord British's eight virtues, but he believed them to be too stuffy, inventing his own virtues. Instead of Truth, Love, and Courage, Mandrake preferred wine, women and song. He told the Avatar those three principles would combine into the virtues of drunkenness, sensuality, harmony, lust, laziness, dance, indulgence, and happiness.

(It is alleged that magicians would form this root into a crude resemblance to the human figure, by pinching a constriction a little below the top, so as to make a kind of head and neck, and twisting off the upper branches except two, which they leave as arms, and the lower, except two, which they leave as legs.) The mandrake, Mandragora officinarum, is a plant called by the Arabs luffâh, or beid el-jinn ("djinn's eggs"). The parsley-shaped root is often branched. This root gives off at the surface of the ground a rosette of ovate-oblong to ovate, wrinkled, crisp, sinuate-dentate to entire leaves, long, somewhat resembling those of the tobacco-plant. A number of one-flowered nodding peduncles spring from the neck bearing whitish-green flowers, nearly broad, which produce globular, succulent, orange to red berries, resembling small tomatoes, which ripen in late spring. All parts of the mandrake plant are poisonous. The plant grows natively in southern and central Europe and in lands around the Mediterranean Sea, as well as on Corsica.
The magic releases Psion waves that cause psychological damage by causing terror within 150° in front of the user. Mandrake doesn't create images of fear, but rather creates fear itself. It doesn't overload the target's emotions, yet it allows the target's consciousness to produce fear. Mandrake has no lethal effects. A target exposed to this can become a victim of intense fear leaving their mind seriously debilitated regardless of their psychological endurance. Rather, the damage can be enormous depending on whether or not the victim has been trained to endure their fears. When attacked, the fear a victim thought they had once overcome, comes forth within the consciousness which causes the victim to panic. The victim can fall into a lethargic state, or even lose consciousness. Depending on the victim, the effects of feeling the fear once again can cause it to last in their mind. A known magic to use as partial defense against "Mandrake" is Silent Veil, which is a spell that can attenuate Psionic Sound thus weakening "Mandrake".
Mandrakes are similar to the mandragora, a monstrous creature in folklore. Mandrakes are in the Harry Potter book, The Chamber of Secrets. Like the mandrake from the Spiderwick Chronicles, they possess a horrible, bloodcurling scream. Banshees also exist in the Harry Potter series, and they scream also.
