  • The Nereid is a naval Myth Unit in Age of Mythology: The Titans. It is available at the Dock in the Heroic Age for Atlanteans worshipping Hyperion.
  • Nereids were a race of aquatic fey related to the tritons. Like the nymphs who lived in the coves and streams, the dryads who lived in the trees, and the oreads who dwelt in the mountains, nereids were fey who were bound to the seas and oceans. They physically resembled tritons except that their bodies displaced light, making them nearly transparent and hard to see, especially when they were in the water.
  • Claudia Landry was in love with a Merman named Jeran, who was a prince among his people. He gave her a magic necklace that allowed her to live with him beneath the seas. It was not all happiness though: clan wars, human (and superhuman) encroachment, ancient magical creatures and even the gods themselves threatened their way of life. Claudia became a skilled warrior in her own right, and the pair of them fought together against all comers. Their exploits even came to the attention of the surface world, including some super hero teams that have tried to recruit them.
  • Her description on her TCG card is,
  • Bubble (Su) As a standard action, a Nereid can launch a bubble at a foe within 30 feet. This is a ranged touch attack. This attack deals 1d6 damage + your total character level. This can be used a number of times per day equal to 3+ your wisdom modifier. Grand Swimmer (Ex) Nereid are amazing swimmers, as such they can always take 10 on a swim check.
  • Nereid is the 8th encountered on File:Icon Lord 05.png Lord's journey for World Conquest.
  • Nereid is Neptune's smaller moon; the site of the Outsider base in Sol system.
  • Nereid is a kind of cave worms that has bad eyes. It seeks prey by smelling them.
  • Nereid was a moon of Neptune, the eighth planet in the Sol system. Nereid is the second closest moon by distance to the planet and the third largest. In 2368, the Federation established a research facility on Nereid to study cloaking technology. (Star Trek: Section 31 novel: Cloak)
  • The Nereid is the Stage 2 magic form of the Seabreeze group.

  • Gender: FemaleRace: Water elementalLike all other elementals, she heals when the prevailing magic in the environment fits with her own. Intuitively, that would be water. She is, surprisingly enough, not the best caster in terms of raw power, but with water magic, that's actually not all that relevant once it gets beyond a certain point. She comes with a mellow ring, which gives you a +32 to status and fire defenses, and immunity to cold defense. • In Iliad XVIII, when Thetis cries out in sympathy for the grief of Achilles for the slain Patroclus: There gathered round her every goddess, every Nereid that was in the deep salt sea. Glauce was there and Thaleia and Cymodoce; Nesaea, Speio, Thoe and ox-eyed Halie; Cymothoe, Actaee and Limnoreia; Melite, Iaera, Amphithoe and Agaue; Doto, Proto, Pherusa and Dynamene; Dexamene, Amphinome and Callianeira; Doris, Panope and far-sung Galatea; Nemertes, Apseudes and Callianassa. Clymene came too, with Ianeira, Ianassa, Maera, Oreithuia, Amatheia of the lovely locks, and other Nereids of the salt sea depths. The silvery cave was full of nymphs.

It resembles a purple-haired girl, in Japanese clothing and holding fans, arrive riding a giant tortoise and summoning an enormous water spout to engulf the enemy party. Nereid has a base Mercury power of 60 and also does additional damage equivalent to 6% of the enemy’s maximum HP. Nereid is exactly the equivalent to two usages of the Mercury summon sequences, with no actual bonus to put it ahead of Mercury aside from using the equivalent of two Mercury summons in one turn.

Clymene came too, with Ianeira, Ianassa, Maera, Oreithuia, Amatheia of the lovely locks, and other Nereids of the salt sea depths. The silvery cave was full of nymphs. – E.V. Rieu, translator The Nereids are the namesake of one of the moons of the planet Neptune. The nymph Opis is mentioned in Virgil's Aeneid. She is called on by the goddess Diana to avenge the death of the Amazon-like female warrior Camilla. Diana gives Opis magical weapons with which to take revenge on Camilla's killer, the Etruscan Arruns. Opis sees and laments Camilla's death and shoots Arruns in revenge as directed by Diana.

(the upside is also that this is an accessory, which means it frees up your other equipment slots) By in large, most Nereids are type 15, which makes them the sorceror subtype in terms of tech sparking. In the early stages, this will be all you have access to in terms of sparking mace techs. As the game progresses, you will have to rely on other means to spark the stronger techs. The class is named after a few Nereids from Greek mythology (with exception to Tethys, a sea goddess).

  • The Nereid is the Stage 2 magic form of the Seabreeze group.
  • Aquatic monsters known as “daughters of the sea.” They're a kind of sea-loving succubus that inhabits the ocean. Women who drown in the ocean and have their bodies completely violated by the magical power of the sea god Poseidon are changed into nereids. Normally they are calm like the sea, and free-spirited, but when they have sex with a man they go wild like a stormy sea and indulge in the pleasure. When human women are changed into “nereids” from having their whole body violated by Poseidon’s magical power, they are overcome with waves of strong pleasure and sexual impulses. Due to this, the restraint and repression they had as humans is completely swept away. They get a sense of freedom that they never experienced as humans, and become filled with happiness. Then their body and heart become that of a Monsters and they start thinking of life in the sea as the ultimate happiness. If a woman who was changed into a nereid had a man she loved on dry land, she will change herself into a human form, and go onto land to seek him out. Then, using her monster transformed body, she will seduce the man, and sink him into the depths of pleasure, as if he were sinking to the bottom of the sea. After capturing the man in this way, the two of them will return to the sea. Nereids who bring back men mostly keep having sex with their beloved husbands at the bottom of the sea. At the bottom of the gentle, quiet sea, the only existence they can sense is their beloved man. Undisturbed by anyone, they repeatedly have violent sex with the man like a storm. The days spent ascertaining one another's violent, yet gentle, love daily are the happiest days of their lives to both of them and the men who became their prisoners. However, unmarried nereids who haven't gotten a man come up near the surface of the water, so they are very dangerous beings. Besides trying to drag men they like into the sea, they do the same to women in an attempt to change them into nereids in order to share the feelings of liberation and happiness that they have obtained.
