  • This spy is far from helplessness. For he can absorb a monster's ability and use it for his own needs.
  • Because Doppelgangers are made out of a person's very essence, they will look exactly like the one who created them, Dragon form as well as human form. The only difference is that Doppelgangers will always have a paler skin color than the original user.
  • File:Q2.png Quite similar to the Holoduke powerup in Duke Nukem 3D, the Doppelganger creates a stationary clone of the player in order to distract other players long enough to get the drop on them. The illusion will explode when fired upon, making the deception obvious, so it is important to quickly take advantage of its temporary misdirection.

  • In their natural form, doppelgangers are pale, slender creatures. However, doppelgangers are able to change their shapes, and can become any creature of a similar size or shape. Doppelgangers are rare creatures in the world of Eberron, gathering few possessions and even fewer friends. Over the centuries, they have spawned off a new, similar race: the changeling.

  • Doppelganger (2010) is a short movie directed by Shane Mackinnon.
  • In their natural shape, Doppelgangers look like walking anatomy diagrams: skinless humanoids with muscle and organs plainly visible. They are rarely seen in this shape except in death, however, as they may take the appearance of anyone they have seen, even down to clothes and armour. Not only that, they are able to ape the mannerisms and personality of their targets so well that even family would have difficulty telling them apart. Doppelgangers are unable to breed. They can be created solely through magical means.
  • The Doppelganger is a playable character race introduced in the Monster Manual.[MM:276] This introduction has been rendered obsolete with the Changeling introduced in the Eberron Campaign guide.[EPG:28] Racial Stats: Average Height: 5' 7˝ – 6' 0˝ Average Weight: 120–160 lb. • Doppelgangers are insidious shapeshifters that often use their abilities to infiltrate powerful groups or organizations for various purposes. A stronger version, the Greater Doppelganger, is also capable of casting spells. They are also found lurking in and around Durlag's Tower.

  • Among the many strange creatures engendered by the Incursions of Chaos, the Doppelgangers are perhaps the strangest. These solitary creatures have the ability to change their form into the likeness of any humanoid creature between 4 and 8 feet tall - including clothing and equipment. To do this, they need only to observe their chosen victim for 1 turn, the transformation itself taking but a round to complete. Once they have assumed the identity of a character, it is the practice of these revolting creatures to murder and eat their victims and then assume their place. A Doppelganger can reproduce both the speech and mannerisms of its victims (but not special, racial, or magical abilities) with 90% accuracy.
  • A Doppelganger (ドッペルゲンガー) is a special monster in The World R:2. If a player avoids battling for five minutes on a field, or if they go to a field with the 3rd keyword Moonlight, a darkness-shrouded version of that character's PC will appear and attack them. Doppelganger starts off eight levels higher than the player and draws its stats from what the player's would be at that same level if they were unaltered by items. Doppelganger's level is capped at whatever the maximum level is for that volume: 50 for Rebirth, 100 for Reminisce, 150 for Redemption. This is proven by the fact that Doppelganger becomes vulnerable to offensive weapon effects outside of Beast Awakening when the player reaches at least (level cap - 4), and the fact that its maximum HP growth halts after the player reaches (
  • Doppelgangers were once thought of as aliens who would land on earth in order to execute a plan to invade the human race and replace every person with a look-alike doppelganger. This is not the case. Doppelgangers, like most other mythical creatures, have some tie to the human race. They are not a different species altogether, but rather a hybrid. 1. * Never kill another doppelganger. 2. * Never reveal another doppelganger's identity to any human. 3. * Never reveal oneself to a human. 4. * Never let a human live while simultaneously using their appearence.
  • Level: Bow/Thrown 8 Spell Resistance: no When using this technique, select one of the following ways to perform it. Doppleganger: Surrounding your foe with shadow clones, you fire arrows like crazy, each clone vanishing with each attack. Finally you let loose the final arrow and blow the enemy away in a mighty blast. Make a full attack on a single target with an additional attack at your highest base attack bonus. For each attack that hits you deal an additional 5d6 damage. Enemies take 1d6 bleed damage for every arrow they are struck with by this. This lasts for 5 rounds. A successful fortitude saving throw DC:18+ Dexterity modifier halves the damage.
  • Stolen, with a lot of luck, from Imperial Customs, the Doppelganger was a wildly-painted Guardian-class Light Cruiser piloted by Axel Vichten. It earned quite the name for itself in many sectors of the galaxy. Heavily modified, the ship saw more trips to Kessel, Sevarcos, Ryloth, and any other planet that produced high end spice, than likely any other ship in the galaxy.
  • The Doppelganger is a special boss found in the Temple of the Moon in Area 7. The Temple of the Moon is unlocked after beating the Snow Queen in Area 13. Doppelganger is, as his name implies, a clone of the player character. He has the same pink and black colors, and he also wields the same sword as you do, of the same size. However, his sword will not copy any enchantments on the player's sword; instead, his sword will always do Dark-elemental damage. Interestingly, his sword will be colored as if it was the opposite of the element of the player's sword. If the player's sword has no element, the Doppelganger's will be red.
  • __NOEDITSECTION__ Your Doppelganger also known as your "Dark Self" is a character in Custom Robo V2 and Custom Robo Arena. In the latter, he is first encountered during the Grudge Match portion of the game. After 12 Grudge Match opponents are defeated, he will appear in front of the Numero Uno clubhouse. He then turns into Liv and many of the other characters, as well as himself. He will then challenge you to a custom robo battle. When he is beat, he will explain his history, give you Majel along with the Indigo part set, and a Dark Commander Mark which will allow you access to the Underground. He is next encountered in the Underground and will battle you if you have defeated Hadron's battle data. Upon victory he will give you Ray II Dark and its default set. His last words are: "Your pass

  • The doppelganger is a shapeshifter. They will imitate player monsters and occasionally nasties. Each turn they have a one-sixth chance of attempting to change form; one-seventh of these attempts will turn them into a nasty and two-thirds of the rest will change them into a random player monster. Doppelgangers that are imitating player monsters will take the rank titles for that role, based upon its level - a doppelganger imitating a fourth-tier Healer appears as a "Dresser", one imitating an equivalent Wizard appears as a "Magician".
  • ☆ The ghostly phenomenon in which one meets a carbon copy of oneself, or a third person observer witnesses such a meeting. It is said that such a meeting drains one’s life, but there is also a theory saying that it’s a phenomenon due to separation of the spirit from the body. The German “doppel” is equivalent to the English “double”. In Japan too, it’s been said from long ago that there are three people in the world who look exactly alike, but the implication is different.

  • A monster that is thought to be born from a fusion of the lingering regret of those who lost love and demonic energy. They reveal themselves after being drawn by the lingering regret of men who were rejected by the women they loved. They don’t have a fixed form. Instead, they read the minds of human men and appear in the form of a woman that the man had a one-sided crush on. Not only do they look like her, they also take on the woman’s memories, personality and abilities, making them their own. |-|Old Encyclopedia Pages= Doppelganger.jpg|1st Revision English Page __NOEDITSECTION__

Description
  • Mysterious happening makes a clone of her self. Even she can't tell which is real, and loses herself.
  • Doppelgangers are monsters in ADOM that can mimic the PC. In ASCII-mode they are represented by an @ symbol of the same color as the PC. In tiles-mode they are represented by the same tile as the PC. The sprite on this page is only displayed when using monster detection. They have a non-damaging extra attack that confuses the PC for one turn, and they deflect all missiles bar potions and thrown gold. Those two abilities mean that melee fighters and archers can have trouble fighting these monsters. Luckily, they tend to be weak enough to eventually kill anyway. Considerably more troublesome is the doppelganger lord, and the doppelganger king ranks among the greatest threats in the late game.

  • Doppelganger (ドッペルゲンガー, Dopperugengā) is a game exclusive block hissatsu technique.
Ever since he stole it, Axel has spent hundreds of thousands of credits keeping it in perfect condition inside and out, as well as integrating the latest in technology — advanced shields, engines, and armor plating. Easily one of the fastest ships of its kind, the Doppelganger is widely-known as a blockade runner and general nuisance. From SW1ki, a Wikia wiki.
Doppelgangers are considered human for sacrifice and cannibalism purposes. Eating a doppelganger corpse will cause you to polymorph.
  • Doppelganger, also spelt Doppelgänger is a four part story from Action Force issues #19-22. * Doppelgänger Part One * Doppelganger Part Two * Doppelganger Part Three * Doppelganger Part Four
  • Doppelgangers are monsters in ADOM that can mimic the PC. In ASCII-mode they are represented by an @ symbol of the same color as the PC. In tiles-mode they are represented by the same tile as the PC. The sprite on this page is only displayed when using monster detection. They have a non-damaging extra attack that confuses the PC for one turn(since r68 1d2 turns ), and they deflect all missiles bar potions and thrown gold. Those two abilities mean that melee fighters and archers can have trouble fighting these monsters. Luckily, they tend to be weak enough to eventually kill anyway. Considerably more troublesome is the doppelganger lord, and the doppelganger king ranks among the greatest threats in the late game.
This is proven by the fact that Doppelganger becomes vulnerable to offensive weapon effects outside of Beast Awakening when the player reaches at least (level cap - 4), and the fact that its maximum HP growth halts after the player reaches (level cap - 8). In addition, Doppelganger uses custom equipment different from that it drops, including Heine's Invasion, Heine's Shadow, Heine's Zero, and Dopple Dual Gun for weapons, Pale Friend, Silent Night, and Other Self for armors, and Truly Feared, Great Suffering, and Shadow for accessories. The armor and accessory used are determined by which volume of G.U. one is playing, while the weapon is determined by whatever the player is using. For weapons, the effects are the same as the real weapons that can be acquired in volume 2 in Rebirth, but in Reminisce and Redemption, Doppelganger's weapons copy the effects of the player's weapon if it is ultra rare (Rarity *5); it cannot copy common weapons, and in those cases, the weapons have no special effects. Doppelganger's armor effects consist of Physical -75% and Magic -75% in Rebirth and Reminisce, while Damage Change is added to those effects in Redemption. Its accessory effects are always Speed +50% and custom HP regeneration (+ (max HP ÷ 50) at every interval). Doppelganger also has an inherent defense against being stunned by the impact of hits it takes and being knocked into the air. The skills Doppelganger has available are whatever the player has available at their current weapon level; in the case of Adept Rogues, only for their current weapon. They also carry the spell Ma Repth, which heals 300 HP, no matter who they face. This spell is only used at low HP. Defeating Doppelganger earns the player the Own King key item in Rebirth. In Reminisce, the player receives Heine's Shadow and the Forgotten Shadow key item, along with Heine's Invasion if the Own King is present in Key Item inventory, for the first victory. A second defeat in that volume bestows upon the victor Moonlight Faith and Heine's Zero. In Redemption, the reward depends on when Doppelganger is defeated. If this occurs prior to achieving Xth Form, only the Bygone Servant key item will be dropped. If Haseo has attained Xth Form, he will earn Bygone Servant if he doesn't have it, along with the DG-0. If the main storyline is finished, Bygone Servant and DG-0 will be dropped if they have yet to be acquired, after which, if the player has Own King, Forgotten Shadow, and Moonlight Faith as well, the armor Other Self and the accessory Shadow will be awarded. The four key items related to Doppelganger will then be destroyed. If Doppelganger has no unique rewards left, a Mission Reward item for the area will be the result. A Mission Reward item may also be earned with one of the unique rewards if Doppelganger is hit by a Steam Bike equipped with Wish Filefish and/or Wish Peeler to start off the battle.
Doppelgangers appear to be unable to reproduce themselves and must therefore be created purely by the forces of Chaos. They are very rare and, unless caught in the process of transforming their appearance, are almost impossible to identify by other than magical means.
  • Doppelganger (formerly known as Mirror Self) is the final foe before Ascension, faced during the Augury Rock Mission, and needs to be defeated in order to proceed in the game. Both Male and Female Doppelganger are wearing a modified version of Warrior Wyvern armor, colored completely jet black. They do not wear a helm, and their faces are aflame, seemingly made of lava. Characters that go up against their Doppelganger will see the following differences: * The Doppelganger equips the same skills as the player has when facing it, which is one of the keys of defeating it. However, Rangers that face the Doppelganger should note that animal companions are NOT duplicated. * It has 12 rank in every attribute except for martial weapon masteries where it has 0 rank. * It is always armed with a Chaos Axe or a Tormented Spear, and will switch weapons depending on whether the player is in melee range or further away. Note that it can use any melee attack skills with its axe, even those tied to other melee weapon masteries. It uses its spear for both spear and bow attack skills. * It formerly also wielded an Eternal Bow and held a black Flame Artifact when wielding its Chaos Axe. After defeating the Doppelganger, the player acquires 50,000 experience points (only if not already ascended in any of the 3 campaigns) and is teleported to Dragon's Lair. Also, if the Doppelganger is defeated in under 10 minutes, the player is awarded 1,000 additional experience points; this counts as the bonus for the mission (needed for the Protector of Tyria title).

☆ The Sanzo Party meet many copies of themselves throughout the journey, unusually in the Shikigami or Illusions. An example would be Saiyuki Vol. 4 when Chin Yisou created a shikigami of Goku after he pushed the real Goku off a cliff. ☆ Another Prime example is the Fake Sanzo Ikkou (偽三蔵一行) Shikigami made by an undisclosed youkai. They made pretensions to having completely mastered and incorporated the Sanzo Ikkou’s movements and attack patterns, and although their strength was about equal, they were totally defeated by the real ones. Special characteristics of the fakes are that they don’t speak and they wear the old costumes. The youkai who created them, who must have been quite skillful to make such elaborate creations, doesn’t have a name (laughs). To borrow Gojyo’s words, the appearance of the fakes was “a promise!”

Temporal Doppleganger: Splitting into multiple versions of yourself, you fire arrows that seem to enter a null time zone before striking your foe. At the last moment, you revert back to one and allow all of the arrows to strike simultaneously. As a full attack action, make a full attack against a single enemy within range. You gain 2 additional attacks at your highest base attack bonus. Every attack you make deals normal damage. For every 3 attacks you successfully land, the enemy must make a will saving throw DC: 18+ Dexterity modifier or be effected by a slow spell. If the enemy is effected multiple times, nothing happens, it just makes the ability more difficult to resist by forcing them to make multiple saves. This technique deals an additional +2d6 damage on all attacks against creatures whom are slowed. Finally, this technique can be performed during a time stop, though it immediately ends the time stop. If performed in this way, the enemy's damage reduction is only applied once. Phantom Shift: Skipping through the air, you create several blue, translucent clones with arrows ready to let lose on their target. As a full attack action. you summon 1 phantom clone per 3 levels (Max 6 phantom clones). These work like a spiritual weapon spell, however they deal 1d8 force damage +1 per 2 levels (Max 1d8+15). They also have 60 foot range with their attack. When you use your move action to move the weapons, you can choose to move one or all of them. Your phantom weapons are treated as being equipped with any evilities that you are currently equipped with, and use your bonus to attack. This technique lasts for 1 round per 2 levels. Empower: By expending another technique per day, you can double this technique's range.

However, their form is modified to be based on the memories and ideals of the man who was targeted. For example, even if the woman a man had feelings for was “nice on the surface, but malicious and scheming on the inside,” she becomes a woman matching the man’s ideal that is “pure and gentle, even in heart.” Also, since the doppelganger herself has feelings for the man, the reason they transform is “to become the man’s ideal woman so he can’t help but love her.” Most men aren’t able to resist the temptation of a doppelganger and they’ll have sex and release spirit energy on the spot when seduced. Even afterwards, they continue to be the man’s ideal lover and continue to offer love and pleasure to the man. They are always transformed and they never show their true forms, except when they lose the magical power to transform on the night when the moon can’t be seen. Their true form doesn’t look anything like the guise of the ideal lover which they had assumed, but is that of a plain little girl draped in black. Since they know that the person the man loves is the woman whose form they borrowed and not them personally, they fear being revealed for who they truly are and being hated by the man. For that reason, when night comes, they hide themselves somewhere so that they won’t be found by the man. But since they’re so in love with the man that they can’t help it, they always hide nearby in a place they can definitely watch him. If one were to search thoroughly, they could probably find her. It is said that when a man truly falls in love with a doppelganger herself and not the “ideal girlfriend” whose form she borrowed, they completely lose the ability to transform since they can’t transform into themselves. Also, if it turns out that the man was mistaken in thinking that his love had been one-sided and it turns out that the real woman was actually fond of him, then when the woman catches sight of the doppelganger borrowing her form, from that moment onward, the woman who has the same form and the same feelings for the man, becomes joined to the doppelganger’s demonic energy. Once joined through demonic energy, their thoughts, feelings and memories start linking and because of the doppelganger having sex with the man, the memories and pleasure of having sex flow directly into the woman's head. The more the doppelganger loves the man and seeks sex, the more the woman's love and passion for the man will rapidly swell. Since what the doppelganger transforms into is based not purely on the woman, but on the man's ideal of her, the woman linked will naturally change to become closer and closer to that ideal image. Eventually the woman becomes a monster exactly like the doppelganger and she'll head off to be with the man she loves and have him pour plenty of spirit energy inside in the same way as her other self. Together with another monster that is an exact clone of herself, they go wild while having sex with their man. They freely offer twice the love and twice the pleasure. |-|Old Encyclopedia Pages= Doppelganger.jpg|1st Revision English Page |-|Fan Artwork= doppelganger 1.jpg sample_698f644175e14dc9e0a291b3aef4d517.jpeg doppleganger.png QFixxii.png Doppel.jpg|Artwork by Sudeo Sample 6232e33c961082afcfd06939410bdfe7.jpg|Art by jiji __NOEDITSECTION__

The first doppelganger was born of human and demon decent. A female human and a male demon. Although it is thought that demons did not have sexual preference, it is known that they could bare children with humans. This made it also possible for a number of other mythical creatures to be born including the Vampire, Ogre, etc. The human characteristics are most prevelent in the first 13 years. The doppelganger appeares as a normal child, but once the child hits the age of 13, other characteristics would begin to appear. This period of time is called "Transference". It is marked by the child's first change of appearence. In order for a doppelganger to change it's appearence it must first gain the knowlege of who it would like to change into. Doppelgangers are linked to humans while their demonic nature helps intensify this link making them naturally telepathic. It is said that this telepathic ability deteriorates over many years of breeding between doppelgangers until finally the only way to enter a human's mind is physical contact, while before a doppelganger could simply enter a human's mind at will. This physical contact is called the "Doppelganger's Kiss". The doppelganger must "kiss" the human it wishes to transform into, which may seem unorthadox considering their demonic nature. But it is a necessary action, for the moment the doppelganger's lips touch the human's lips, the information about the human's appearence, thoughts, memories, physical abilities, skills, and talents are transfered to the doppelganger, thus marking the change. Then the doppelganger must kill the human to make the transferrence complete. This is part of the strict code doppelgangers must follow: 1. * Never kill another doppelganger. 2. * Never reveal another doppelganger's identity to any human. 3. * Never reveal oneself to a human. 4. * Never let a human live while simultaneously using their appearence. These 4 main rules are to ensure the doppelganger race is secret to humans and that the race is kept alive for as long as possible. If this is compromised and if any of the 4 rules are broken, the doppelganger must be hunted down and killed. Usually this is done by a doppelganger who witnesses the other doppelganger's mistake. Although there have been times in which doppelgangers have revealed themselves to humans, it is very rare. This is because every doppelganger knows the 4 rules and are taught the consequenses at a young age. This teaching is thought to have been passed down over generations starting with the first demons to breed with humans. Doppelgangers usually travel the earth tansferring from appearence to appearence never being know by humans. Occasionally a doppelganger's path is crossed by another doppelganger. If a male doppelganger meets a female doppelganger, they must produce offspring. It is required to keep the doppelganger line going. This meeting is very rare, which is both the cause and effect of how doppelgangers are rare in general.
When the Doppelganger is defeated, he will drop the Energy Blade.
  • A Doppelganger (or Doppelgänger by German spelling) is a German-based monster who can transform from anyone they choose to. Their name literally means "double-walker" or "double-goer" in the German language.
His last words are: "Your passion for victory...is this what you call...love?" Although his attitude gives off a sort of sinister vibe, he does not seem to be evil. • Doppelgangers are insidious shapeshifters that often use their abilities to infiltrate powerful groups or organizations for various purposes. A stronger version, the Greater Doppelganger, is also capable of casting spells. In Baldur's Gate they have been used by the Iron Throne (especially Sarevok) to infiltrate and undermine the Seven Suns trading centre and the Merchants' League in order to increase the Throne's own profits and control of the region. They are also found lurking in and around Durlag's Tower.
  • A doppelganger, in Germanic folklore, is a person's double, who appears and issues a warning or dire pronouncement. In Dungeons & Dragons, the term refers to a humanoid creature that can read minds and impersonate humanoid creatures with its shapechanging powers.
