Fullingim died on August 6, 1965 in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 110 years, 30 days. Nancy died the year before at the age of 103. He was the world's oldest verified living person. However if the pending case, James Monroe King's age is true, he would have been the world's second oldest living person as well as man.
