  • A tackle was a move in which an individual jumped on another and pulled them to the ground. In 2024, Biddle Coleridge complimented "Gabriel Bell" on his tackle and asked if he ever played football. Bell (actually Benjamin Sisko) replied no, that he played baseball. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")
  • Tackle (タックル, ta-kku-ru) combines with his erstwhile partner Mach to form the robot Machtackle and separately serves as the left leg of Landcross. Tackle is brains, capable of discussing geology or physics with equal ease, though most often he ends up having to explain both to Mach. A speed demon who prefers fighting in his vehicle mode, Tackle more often than not serves as the legs to Machtackle. When not being ordered off the front lines that is.

Zorro, alias Diego, and Tackle understand each other so well that a look or a gesture is enough to set the dog into action.
  • Blunt physical damage in a narrow frontal cone; Stagger, [[Knockback] or Knockdown, depending on how much damage is resisted/mitigated by DEF. Also adds Defense penalty. Sometimes Stuns. If the target is knocked back, the user will move to the position of the target.
  • Tackle is a move that all Tekken characters have, it can be used by running 10 - 18 steps into an enemy or by input while standing; it can be followed up with hard blows/punches. It is possible for a character to tackle a character from the back or front and it is also possible if they are in the Guard position. Some characters can pull off a string of unique moves while the opponent is tackled, such as King, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Craig Marduk and Sergei Dragunov. Other characters have their own tackle to bring down the enemy with a flurry of punches such as Kazuya, Devil Kazuya and Devil Jin. Jin Kazama can break his opponent's neck after dealing a flurry of punches while his opponent is tackled.
